First Look: 'Kai Po Che' (Movie adaptation of 'The 3 Mistakes of My Life' )
Here is the first look poster of Abhishek Kapoor's 'Kai Po Che'. The movie is based on Chetan Bhagat's best seller 'The 3 Mistakes of My Life'. The movie stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Raj Kumar Yadav and Amit Sadh and is being directed by Abhishek Kapoor of 'Rock On' fame. Here is the synopsis of '3 Mistakes' - The novel, based on real events, is set in the years 2000-2005, when a young boy in Ahmedabad named Govind dreams of starting a business. To accommodate his friends Ishaan and Omi's passion, they open a cricket shop. However, each has a different motive: Govind's goal is to make money; Ishaan desires to nurture Ali, a gifted batsman; Omi just wants to be with his friends. Govind is the narrator and the central character of the novel, and the story revolves around the three mistakes caused by him and the religious politics.

I agree with you completely. Chetan Bhagat has no sense of writing novels. I just picked up Love Story 2020 & I closed it after reading for half an hour. The kind of rubbish English he uses makes it look as if a 7th std child is writing the story,though I agree his concepts are urbane & suits contemporary India. I hope scriptwriters of the film make some major changes to it,if they want the film to be a hit.

I love this poster, it's got that aged look yet a new gen feel to it! Sushant's pose is so bindaas, very joyful. Hope the movie lives up to the storyline.

Kai po che is a gujrati for when in Uttarayan u cut someone's kite and u say "kai po che".. that's why there is a kite in the poster!

a story about these three guys who are the best of friends..then the lead character falls in love with Ishaan's sister, sleeps with her and all..Ishaan has no idea..all he cares about is cricket and this Muslim boy who is amazing at playing the game..then comes an earthquake that destroys everything..its basically a small town Indian story...
