We used to do that pose in gym! She's doing the 80's pin up look, and she does it well.

Tradition is beautiful (Indian) but it should never stop a woman's freedom.
Desi women are free, strong and proud. If they are tradition bound, that's their right. If they are bold, that's their right. Freida prefers the latter.. and she's beautiful and free!!! Judgements be damned...

wow.. Hollywood stars like Jennifer Aniston have litterally posed topless.. and she does a cheesecake classic shot which is so tame... and she becomes the target of the traditional desi brigade. talk about double standards !!!
it's like Western women can wear fashion daring swimsuits to the beach all the time.. but when a desi wears a two-piece, strangely notice only the desis (these are NRIs -- not traditional types by the way), who start calling her a cheapo.. but its' ok if Western people wear the same !
If people think this is a a cheap pose, desis need to stop the double standards and start targetting the Jennifer Anistons, Angeline Jolies.. whose poses are 100000000000000000000000000000% more risque.

I never got why she or Dev got popular either....I mean the chunk of the movie involved those little kids! ...Even Anil wasnt in the movie that much! But I guess with SD being such a Hit they couldnt interview most of the kids alone (and most of their english was close to none or slim) ...so I think that kud also be why the grown ups got more attention but either way...if she does have what it takes acting wise shes gonna go far!! But if she doesnt Hollywood is not like Bollywood -- if she cant act, she'll be cut off after a while

WOW! PEOPLE ARE SO PREPARED TO WRITE HER OFF! SO WHAT IF SHE DID 15MINS IN THE MOVIE IT WAS HER ROLE THAT MATTTERED. THE STORY LINE REVOLVED AROUND HER AND DAVE'S CHARACTERS! LET HER NEXT MOVIE COME OUT AND THEN JUDGE HER.
