I understand that it may be a celebration of the deceased's life but it's a "condolence" meet which basically means that you express how sorry you are by the loss. I find it odd that most people seem to be smiling (and no this is not only abt Hrithik and Susanne). Most of the other pics I've seen seemed so as well. I wonder what was actually going on at the event.

And people coming to someone else's funeral must take a cue from the family of the deceased - if the family wants to make it a celebration then others should follow suit. Clearly here Kaka Ji's family are sombre and silent so it's disrespectful to stand around grinning and dress inappropriately. It's not about different cultures - it's about common human decency.

Yeah that is exactly what he was : A joke right Hrithik!?? Not. I am sorry it's really shameful that you can't keep your mouth shut, your attitude sombre when you come to a condolence meeting. Rajesh Khanna had a painful life, one filled with his own mistakes but also with massive negligence of the industry that only worships a rising sun; he could not handle success nor could he handle failure, the man drank his latter life away, please show some respect for pain and the man's greatness. He did entertain us all, he was a part of our family lives, like it or not.

I don't quite agree with you. He may have had a lot of pain in adapting himself to the loss of his glory, but he also caused a lot of pain to people around him, particularly his family. Outsiders (including myself) can only speculate, as only he/the ones he was involved with know the truth. But my understanding was that he wasn't exactly a one woman man. He was in a relationship with Anju Mahendru, and suddenly dumped her for the young (too young at 16) and beautiful Dimple. If he was in a live in relationship with some other woman, at the end of his life, why not acknowledge it and give the woman some respect. Too many skeletons popping out..if I were one his kids, I'd have difficulty respecting him too. There doesn't seem to be any contribution from him towards charity/philanthropy either. Seems like a life indulgent in his super star status and then mourning the loss of it. Great entertainer, not necessarily a great human being.
Not a severe person but seriously looking at these three one would think they are at a party...you don't need to weep but at least conduct yourselves with some dignity losers.
