Bravo, Vidya! She has shut up all her haters with her performance in the Dirty Picture, as she should. The whole country is going gaga over her performance and the movie has collected 9.56 crores on its first day from mere 1600 screens (Ready collected 13.5 crores from over 2400 screens - just to show a comparative value considering there was no male 'superstar' in the Dirty Picture). The woman had the guts to do what no other actress in bollywood wanted to. She let her heart, body and soul hang out for her character and that is the true meaning of the craft - not being size zero or wearing designer clothes. Paa, Ishqiya, No One Killed Jessica, The Dirty Picture and soon Kahani. There isn't a single actress today who has or will match this stupendous record!
