Farah Khan has said that the female character's role in Happy New Year is a difficult role, so she had to cast an actress who is both an amazing dancer and more importantly an amazing actress!! I really think that Priyanka Chopra has been finalized, since she is both an amazing actress and dancer! If you want to hear it, The interview is on Bollywood Hungama recently for Joker's promotion. Priyanka Chopra also said on zoom that she has singed 2 new films, she confirmed Milan Talkies and the other one she did not say! Plus, Farah Khan in the same interview said that she wishes to finalize the entire cast as of Oct 1, and Priyanka's Zoom interview was on September 14, which is only two week before Oct 1. I really think PC is in Happy New Year! Plus, Farah Khan said that she has not cast a new face but a experienced actress: The following could not be in the film:
Katrina Kaif - not a great acress at all, and after Tees Mar Khan, I really do not think she will be in HNY.
Kareena Kapoor - she has already signed two big films, one with Punit Malhotra and the other one with Prakash Jha as directors, thus no time.
Deepika Padukone - not that great of an actress, plus she is busy with Chennai Express and Ram Leela, thus no time.
Sonam Kapoor - I highly doubt it!!!!!!
Bipasha Basu - amazing actress, already doing Attma and No Entry Main Entry and another thriller/horror film, thus no time.
Priyanka Chopa - has said that she will finish shooting for Krissh 3 and Zanjeer by the end of the year. She has also stated that she has signed two films, one she confirmed being Milan Talkies and the other did not want to disclose. Plus she said that she wants to do the right films.
Madhuri Dixit - could be, amazing actress and dancer but she does not sign any movies.
Vidya Balan - is too busy with Ganchakar and Shadhi ki Side Effects, thus no time.
CONCLUSION: Priyanka Chopra is the only one that makes sense here!
