"but we have a comfort level too with the stars we already are fond of or familiar with. I will not be enjoying equally if there is a sudden entry of fresh new faces."

Then why don't we have this comfort level with female stars? I would enjoy much more if Yashji took a movie with SRK and Madhuri and Kajol than watching SRK who is almost 50 running around with a guitar and ripped jeans and wooing Kat and Anu. Or Aamir and Juhi would be nice to see again or Salman and Karishma.

I don't mind about seeing old guys with young girls if there is other types of couples also. But these uncles totally dominate the screen and there is very little opportunity for hunky, younger men to shine. And they are all too insecure about their age and try to look younger by pairing with girls who are half their age so there is no room for talented older actresses like Madhuri, Juhi and Tabu in commercial films either.

Look at Hollywood where actresses over forty like Meryl Streep, Sandra Bullock, Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Aniston are still in demand and there is an older generation of actors as well as young new ones like Robert Pattinson, Andrew Garfield and Liam Hemsworth. Imagine how creepy it would be if George Clooney and Tom Cruise were being paired together with Selena Gomez and Blake Lively.

I want to see women and men of all ages in movies and I want to see people in age appropriate roles. I don't want to see a 45 year old man playing a college student or playing the same loverboy act from 20 years ago and running around tress with gals his daughter's age. A 45-47 year old man being paired opposite a 22-25 year old actress again and again while talented actresses like Rani and Preity stop getting many offers after they turn 30 is damn sexist. Nobody in India will accept an older woman with a younger man but if its a guy with a gal who is half his age then everybody is ok with it.

Even all our top young actors today are older than the top actresses. Senior actresses like Priyanka and Katrina are not yet thirty even but the young actors like Shahid Kapoor and Ali Zafar are over 30 and Abhay Deol, Hrithik Roshan and Farhan Akhtar over 35. I think this is damn wrong and weird.

And we are becoming used to thinking that it should only be this type of older man- younger woman relationship. For example people talk about how hot Akshay-Asin or SRK-Katrina are together though the age gap is around 20 years. But when Kareena acts with Imran who is only three years younger people call her his mother. This is damn disturbing and shows how Bollywood is influencing to us to think in a wrong way.

Love knows no age and I certainly don't feel odd seeing our superstars with younger women (not young young like in teens obviously but young/old enough). Men can do that. And the older men we have are very sexy and fit and not THAT old. Fresh talent is always welcome and am in no way going against that, but we have a comfort level too with the stars we already are fond of or familiar with. I will not be enjoying equally if there is a sudden entry of fresh new faces. Now our actresses too are getting older like in late 20's and 30's, so to me, the pairings look just fine.

rana is so funny looking.

Rana may be good looking but as an actor there is nothing good about him. For lack of better words, he sucks! People say that John Abraham is/was wooden, well this good makes John look like he's in the league of an Aamir Khan. Rana just doesn't have what it takes to carry a movie by himself. It proves once again that it sure does pay to be from a rich, powerful FILMI family.

Rana is so damn attractive. I don't know why Bollywood is dominated by these aging Buddhas who insist on acting opposite girls young enough to be their daughters and embarrassing themselves by pretending to be superheroes, Bond or MI4 type action heroes. The aged lot should move aside and give way to young guns like Rana Daggubati, Ali Zafar, Vidyut Jamwal and Rajeev Kandherwal who are talented as well as young and sexy.
