What a phenomenal dancer and talented actor he is. I really think he is one of the most versatile actors we have today.
His last 2 films may not be successful but I am sure he will come with a bang.

I love Salman Khan but Ready was one of most ridiculous movies (lack of story) that I have watched. Bodyguard had a very average to almost no story...but star power of Salman-Kareena and the music helped.
Vulgar movies like "Kya Super kool hain hum" do well but cannot be called good cinema.

ofcourse it hurts an actor when their movies dont do well..n i really do feel for shahid coz u can actually tell and see the effort he puts in yet it doesnt pay off for him

How can some of you all make fun of him? If anything to see him smiling and cheery is a sign of inner strength which is nothing but admirable. Plus, film stars are seasoned enough to take ups and downs pretty level-headedly. He was great in both Mausam and TMK (the Javed role esp.). I wouldn't call them unwatchable in the least. It's these biggest hits happening these days (the massy movies) that I've never chosen to watch.
@Pinkvilla_boy. Seriously, milenge milenge was only released late, that too just a couple of months after Badmaash Company. It was filmed many many years ago. No promotion, no hype, nothing. And don't worry, I agree, it was a horrible film. Therefore his last 3 films were tmk, mausam and badmaash company - end of story!

Jeans may be unflattering but his smile (11th photo in particular) is to die for! He is one handsome dude!
Shahid hasn't quite transitioned from a boy to a man yet thats why his style sense is so awkward.
It is really mean to say that if your films flop, you should stop smiling or look happy!
And even though Shahid's movies did not do well, his performance was appreciated in both Mausam and TMK. Both movies failed because the director's vision did not connect with the audience.
Every actor goes through lean phases...AB Jr gave a series of flops before he discovered multi-starrers as his road to success. Salman Khan also went through a very lean phase before re-inventing himself as the Dabanng Khan. In recent years, Priyanka has not given a hit in a movie where she plays a significant role. Her hits have been in Don and Agneepath which were SRK and Hrithik's movies. Her presence would not have changed the fate of those two movies.
Milenge Milenge was a terrible movie that should never have been made. BOLLYWOOD COPY OF HOLLYWOOD'S SERENDIPITY.

@Pinkvilla_boy: Get your facts right before you comment, its only 2 flops in a row. His last 3 films were tmk, mausam, and badmaash company. BM was declared a hit.
Anyways, i agree, its nice to see Shahid so happy after a long while. I honestly cannot wait for his next films lined up. <3
