lol aish does the same thing. when she goes to events alone u don't think she has servants to take care of her child? in fact there are more pics of her without her child than there are with her child. i don't see anything wrong if a woman needs help to take care of their child (don't know why people look down upon women for hiring nannys/servants) but don't say that she is always with her child when she isn't. she is just like any other celebrity mom who has servants to take care of her child most of the time.

What makes their filmography better than Ash's? I'm not saying either has worse or better filmographies but people here talk like these other films are so much superior to Ash's. s
I like Kajol but what exactly has she done other than movies with SRK? What has Rani done that she should get an award over Ash? Madhuri movies? She's great but her movies?
Seriously people here are so jealous that they want to erase what Ash has done. Fact. Ash has done some popular movies just like these others. She's more popular internationally than they are. Fact.

For those who are saying Amitabh should have got it, let me remind you that the French government gave him the "Légion d'Honneur" which is the HIGHEST civilian honour one can receive, higher than "Chevalier dans l'ordre des arts et des lettres" SO calm down, Big B is always the greastest ;)

And Ash deserves her award cuz she contributed to the relations between France and India, more than Madhuri or Sridevi, even if they are great actresses too.

To everyone who is saying she doesnt deserve this...guess wot? She does deserve it not coz shes a good actress but coz she knows how to work with the laws of the universe..she knows that we create our own reality....it called the law of attraction loa and she uses it to her advantage...she is a deeply spiritual person guys...she knows what she wants and the universe supports her in it....if you dont believe me see the movie the secret and google law of attraction....all of us have access to this energy but we...most of us create in our lives by default....you and i too can live out our dreams...not just her...but she knows this and has learned how to create a life that she wants so kudos to her

It is true that Aishwarya Rai is popular internationally, one of the most beautiful ladies, Ms. World, dances very gracefully and she also acted very well on few of her movies. However, there are actresses/legends of BW who deserve more than her - like Madhuri, Hema Malini, Sridevi, Rani and few more! Moreover, Madhuri, Hema & Sridevi are actresses who are gorgeous, dances really well and acting is more than superb.

P.S - I am NOT saying that Aish does not deserve this award! She OFCOURSE DOES! But my point is that there are other living legends who deserve more.

what about madhuri, sridevi, rani, kajol who are far far better actress than her...this is so not "fair"

the kid is adorable god knows why they were making a big deal of hiding her. but these pictures really tell you how much ash is made up everytime she steps out. her hands match aaradhya and abhisheks's skin tone but look at her head........face is 10 shades lighter and her hair is BROWN. she never stops dyeing her hair. theres nothing wrong it but then she should stop making herself out to be 'natural' and someone who doesnt care about makeup and hair, coz OBVIOUSLY she does if she friggin dyes it every single day. 'busy mom' my ass lol

Can somebody please explain it to me that what kind of" invaluable contribution" has she done exactly to the world of cinema???? Just by dancing around tress, doing item songs half naked, doing silly and meaning less acting means that she has done some invaluable contibution to indian cinema than Rakhi Sawant and others should also get this award. She is a talentless actress who doesn't know how to act and has only been in the limelight then just because of her over hyped beauty that too created by Indian media and now in the limelight just because of being a bachchan bahu.......There are others who deserve this award more than Aishwarya...like Madhuri, Kajol, Sridevi, Rani, Shabana Azmi and the list is endless. Why did they pick this talentless actress over others ??? It's totally absurd decision and is based on favoritism. She doesn't deserve this award. May b next time they will consider Sunny Leone for her invaluable contribution by showing off her valuable assets to the world of cinema.

i couldnt agree with you more.. even i think she didnt deserve this award.. there are many others who have better acting abilities than her and have every now and than proved themsleves.. aishwarya's acting os so overrated.. i hated her in hum dil de chuke sanam.. over acting.. she just tries to show that she is a method actor and all but unfortunately her pathetic performnace reveals that she cant act at all.. and i am pretty sure that because we are saying this aishwarya lovers are gonna bash us and tag us as haters and say that we are jealous of her beauty and blah blah.. but fact is fact.. she cant act.. i agree she is pretty.. infact she is the prettiest.. but sorry but she cant act
