Sonam Kapoor leaves for Cannes 2012

the style icon tag she constantly flaunts is a bit ironic here...because that entire outfit is mismatched. black blazer with navy cropped wide leg trousers? hoop earrings? the headband seems like an afterthought, and in which universe would that ghastly blue vuitton alma bag fit? i do love the coordination of the LV suitcase with the leopard flats, which seems genius but may have just been a coincidence.

Poor Ash has got nothing to do this year than stick online and post comments like below :D guess she is just jealous of young beautiful n ssslimm Sonam ::D :D :D

I kinda agree with the below comment.. more attention is given to actors who are just promoting their brands at a FILM Festival than the stars who actually would like to show their films.. I don't know why Frieda, Sonam, Ash and Mallika go to Cannes.. Is it really that prestigious an event? Definitely it's an international event with stars from around the globe apearing on the red carpet.. but it's starting to feel more like a Loreal event than a film festival...

but what about Eva Longoria TV actresses

Loreal must give proper recognition to Sonam this time... I remember how last year she was called unknown guest or a helper on red carpet...

She is below-average looking without make up on! Make up does wonders for this girl.

She is an ambassador for L'oreal paris. They are the official sponsor and hence their brand ambassadors from around the world take part in this film fest as a part of promotional activities and FYI last year plenty of people and international media noticed her. She was notice by Eonline, Vogue and a whole bunch of other media. If you cant stand the fact that Sonam made a place for herself in the fashion world then kindly go troll somewhere else. Let her be.

This is the only thing she's good for. Useless, pampered, average looking star child.

So she has become a full time model, I see. Movies weren't her forte anyways.

Sonam is walking the carpet on the 26th and press interviews on the 27th but probably has to do L'Oreal and mag shoots before then... hence leaving early!

She is going there to represent L'oreal, like Ash and Freida.Why is that so difficult to grasp? It is not like she's the only Indian actor going there.The cast of Anurag Kashyap's Peddlers is also going. So is Arjun Rampal.
She looks ok here. Her luggage is tacky though. She is going early, i think because she has to shop for her gown there.She hasn't bought it yet.

Sonam Kapoor too like Aishwarya is a brand ambassador for L'oreal and that's why she's at Cannes. You don't necessarily have to be in a movie that's been shown in the festival to go there.

She is leaving there early coz she has said that she wants to take a vacation to enjoy and spend some quality time withher friends and sister before walking the red carpet she truly stole the show last year even trended 3 days in twitter want her to do even better this time too!

So nice to see her handling her luggage unlike Ms. Rai who has loads of "bouncers' surrounding her...
