Mai is legendary singer Asha Bhonsle's debut film. It is the story of a woman abandoned by her only son and then goes to live with her daughter and son-in-law.

Sonam Kapoor came to show her support to the veteran singer in her acting debut. Since this is Sonam's public appearance after a long time, she wore it perfectly in the form of a clock-print Kallol Datta sari paired with a statement silver necklace.

The film is all set for release tomorrow.

It looks like a Masaba print and design. It's an interesting fusion but not particularly to my taste. But Sonam does look lovely.
