Very well put. I've posted a link on here with her interview on BBC, and it's so refreshing to see her answer so candidly, and she's very funny too.

no.. not seen her interview in BBC.. perhaps someone can post it. it would be a refreshing change. Just heard a lot about her from ppl who live in Mumbai at how down-to-earth and natural and away from starry-airs she was. She would always take her brother and his gf out back then.. treating everyone and her fans on her tab. she would have a big smile on her face when the cameras were off. but when the press was on, she would tell them exactly what they were... guess that's why her career did not fly off... in fact, am not even her fan (am a Freida fan).. but Manisha is a rare unique talent that deserves quite more respect than she got. Today stars are bold and honest.. but she was doing all that back then.. because it was real to her as she lives fully.

Very tru Anonymous. Have you saw/listened to her radio interviw on BBC a month or so ago?
it's true, she's very down to earth.. knew a Mumbia businessperson who worked with the stars and they indicated even when she was the top, she was the only one who was genuinely sweet and kind to everyone around her. that's why she was a good actress..she LIVES and LOVES rather than living an image or hype. she's not full of herself and would blush if ppl would say she's pretty. no makeup.. no hype. that's honest Manisha..
