*Maybe* her dressing and mannerisms have more to do with rejecting society's ( as in male/ patriarchal ) rules for how a woman should act than trying to act like a man.

And thats a very gay person out there sitting with her legs as wide open as Ranbir, she is the director of Aamir's Next, her name is Reema Kagti. I have no issues with one's sexuality but when a lesbian starts enacting the opposite gender's mannerisms,haircut,way of speaking(aka Butch) then it defeats the whole purpose of being homosexual. You end up playing men and wife with your partner. So it's quite debatable whether such sexuality is inborn or cultivated just because you wanted to be different or be 'one of the boys'.
