Vijay Sethupathi is one of the most successful stars of the Tamil industry star today. The talented star impressed critics and viewers with his recent performance as a transgender in Super Deluxe. Lately, rumours were doing the rounds suggesting that Sethupathi was in talks to collaborate with Anand Shankar. The acclaimed director has worked on movies like NOTA and Iru Mugan. So, there was no doubt fans would have gone gaga after learning the two South Indian celebrities are collaborating. 

However, the filmmaker burst our happy bubble by debunking these rumours. The director took to Twitter to clarify that there rumours making the rounds about their collaboration is not true. 

“News about my next isn’t true. Though I would definitely love that combination. Just working on good scripts now. Haven’t signed anything, yet. Also, I’m watching game of thrones. Like everyone else. Somehow it makes life worth living," he tweeted.

Damn! We were hoping to report yet another Sethupathi movie in the making. Anyway, we are not short of his movies lately. The actor has a slew of South India movies. In Tamil, he will be seen in Maamanidhan, Sindhubaadh, and Laabam. 

He is also set to make his Malayalam industry debut with Marconi Mathai. The actor will be seen with Jayaram. He is also gearing to make a Tollywood debut with the superstar Chiranjeevi starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.

Sye Raa is produced by Ram Charan Teja's banner Konidela Production Company. The film's budget is expected to be around Rs 200 crores. Sethupathi will be seen with Nayanthara, Tamannaah, Jagapathi Babu, Kiccha Sudeep in the movie.
