A significant trend that has taken over in the film industry is of remakes. Remakes and sequels are the rage and of late, Bollywood filmmakers are majorly following the trend. Vijay Deverakonda's Arjun Reddy was remade in Hindi as Kabir Singh. On the other hand, Nani's Telugu film Jersey is currently in the talks for the Hindi remake. However, Southern beauty Nithya Menen thinks that one just can't do justice when it comes to remakes.

The actress who is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar's Mission Mangal spoke about the same in a recent interview. In an interview to Mumbai Mirror, the actress opened up on how she usually avoids remakes. “An original is an original. You can’t really do justice to it in a remake. Most of the time, the magic can’t be recreated." Further talking about having any Bollywood offers, Nitya said, “Not right now. I have quite a few films lined up down South to sign on anything new,” she concludes.

During her interview, she also spoke about how Bollywood is a lot friendlier and more professional. “We’d all lunch together, and not once did I feel like a newcomer," says Nitya Menen.

Directed by Jagan Shakti, Mission Mangal will hit the theatres on 73rd Independence Day.
