Music composers Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy recently took to Twitter and announced about backing out of Prabhas starrer Saaho. The trio has opted out of composing the music for Saaho and this news took social media by storm. A tweet posted by their official handle read: "We wish to inform all our fans that Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy has opted out of composing the music for Saaho. Here's wishing #Prabhas #Sujeetsign #Vamsi #Pramod #Shyam all the luck for the film." While not many know what made them back out of the much talked about project of the year, reportedly, the music company was uncomfortable with multiple music combers onboard.

Shankar Mahadevan, also a singer, recently in an interview to IANS said, "The music company wanted to add a few songs from external composers. We are not very comfortable with that. Normally, we prefer to remain the sole composers of the film. That's why we decided to opt out." He further added about the songs that the makers of the film had started working on. He said, "Just creatively... we were jamming on some ideas. Nowadays you see multi-composers happening on many of the films. They checked if it's okay with us. We said 'no'".

Shankar Mahadevan also clarified that they don't have anything against multiple composers but he and his team were not comfortable working for it.

Shankar Ehsaan Loy are boring and passé.

T-series is to be blamed here. Since they are presenting Saaho in North so their dadagiri is seen here.

I am absolutely in support of Shankar Ehsaan Loy in the momentum of solo music composers for a movie. This trend of multiple composers for film is ruining the industry and the creativity of composers.

Agree.
