Samantha Akkineni, who has delivered a number of hit movies in her filmy career, has currently geared up for the release of her upcoming film, Oh Baby. After Majili, Sam has moved to her next project Oh Baby and fans can't wait to see her in never seen character on the big screen yet again. Samantha will be seen playing a very different peppy role in the film. The teaser of the film was released recently and it received a positive response. The makers of Oh Baby recently hosted press meet where Samantha shared about her filmy career and choices of films. 

The actress at the event said that she has decided to do only good films or else sit at home, and this decision has come only after doing films like Rangsthalam, Majili and Super Deluxe.  "I have decided to do only good films or else sit at home," said Samantha at the press meet. She further added, "I had always wanted to do a full-fledged comedy before retiring as an actress. With this film, the wish has been fulfilled."

Directed by BV Nandini Reddy, the film is an official remake of South Korean comedy Miss Granny (2014). Oh Baby's cast comprises of Naga Shaurya, Rajendra Prasad, Rao Ramesh, Urvashi, Pragati and Teja among others in supporting roles. Music by Mickey J Meyer, Oh Baby is all to release on July 5.
