The strong relation between the South Indian film industry and Bollywood has highly been successful over time. Be it the recent example of Arjun Reddy remake Kabir Singh with Shahid Kapoor’s menacing act in the film that earned him high praises or the endearing praises Dulquer Salmaan got for his debut in Bollywood with Karwaan, South Indian Cinema's relationship with Bollywood and vice versa has worked in a good way. Also, there is no denying how Hindi movie makers are highly inspired by Southern industry. Over the last few years, many filmmakers have revamped films from South and Kabir Singh's success has only proved that the audience enjoys watching the same story with a different twist.

Vikram Vedha:

Tamil's 2017 hit film Vijay Sethupathi-Madhavan starrer Vikram Vedha has been in the news since a very long time. Reportedly, Aamir Khan and Saif Ali Khan will step into the shoes of Vijay Sethupathi and R Madhavan. 

Jersey:

Nani's Telugu film Jersey is currently in the talks to be remade in Hindi. The film will reportedly star Shahid Kapoor in the lead. 

Oh Baby:

Samantha Akkineni's Telugu film Oh Baby, a remake of South Korean film Miss Granny released on July 5th, 2019. Owing to the positive response of the film, the makers are planning to remake Samantha Akkineni starrer Oh Baby in Hindi. However, there is no official word regarding the same. 

Laxmmi Bomb:

Laxmmi Bomb is a Hindi remake of the 2011 Tamil film Muni 2: Kanchana. Directed by Raghava Lawrence, the film features Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. The shooting of the film kick-started a couple of months ago. 

RX100: 

The Hindi remake of Telugu hit RX100 hit the headlines today itself. The film will star Ahan Shetty and Tara Sutaria. Released in 2018, the original starred Kartikeya Gummakonda and Payal Rajput in lead roles. 

Dear Comrade:

Even before the release of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna's Dear Comrade, Karan Johar bought the Hindi rights of the romantic drama. Directed by Bharat Kamma, the Telugu film was released last month and it opened to a positive response. 

Prasthanam:

Prasthanam is an official remake of the Telugu political drama of the same name, starring Sanjay Dutt in the lead. The film also stars Ali Fazal, Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff and Amyra Dastur. The makers of the film had released the first teaser on Dutt's 60th birthday. 

Veeram: 

Akshay Kumar will star in and as Bachchan Pandey. As per speculation, the film is a remake of Ajith’s Veeram. 

Kaththi: 

Akshay Kumar will be seen in Hindi remake of Tamil film Kaththi, To be directed by Mission Mangal director Jagan Shakti, Kaththi was released in 2014 and had Tamil superstar Vijay in the lead.
