Aishwarya Rai visits Aashirwad to meet the Khanna Family
Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan visited Aashirwad to meet Dimple and rest of Khanna family after Rajesh Khanna's Funeral. Food was brought from Bachchan house, because as per Hindu tradition, cooking is not allowed after a family member's demise for a certain number of days.

Wow! I just realized this too Aishwarya doesn't really have anyone in the industry that is her friends except for SLB and maybe Hrithik other than that she basically hangs out with the Bachchans which is not wrong but that says a lot about her. I never actually considered aishwarya to be a friendly person i not saying she is mean or anything but i have this strange feeling she has a big head about her and for a person who has achieved a lot i would proud of myself but i don't think anyone should think they are above anyone. i would rather be respected as a person than as just a superstar.
I am a fan and I did not see her face. She moved too fast.

AB and RK's family are close for many years. Infact RK's younger daughter Rinke and AB's daughter Shweta are childhood friends. Dimple and Rinke attended Ash and Abhishek's wedding.

That was a very short footage but good to see Aish! Seems she is losing her swelling around the face now. It's starting to look normal again! Can't wait to see her back in the movies :)
It's really very nice of them. I like the way Bachchans follow the Hindu tradition without any drama. SWEET
that's nice. In Nepalese tradition people usually bring fruits to the family but all the people who have come to the funeral will be feed pure vegetarian meal by the deceased family. This is a way to say thank you & appreciate all the visitors for being there to support the deceased family. Buddhist Nepalese funeral lasts for 13/14days so one can imagine the amount of people gathered at the funeral.

Amitabh proved his genuine friendship with RK. Normally a brother or sister or extended family of deceased or spouse provides bhaati ka Khaana at the home of the deceased. They take turns each day or each meal and provide food for all who are present to offer condolences and also for special prayers. AB was thoughtful and considerate to share the family's grief at their time of loss

Yes tradition says you are not supposed to cook at a deceased person's home as everyone there is mourning so they won't even feel like cooking food ( another story that dimple wouldn't cook herself ) but sweet for Amitabh to send food for them :)
