Sex and City is a serial about sl*ts who change their partners daily. Carrie Bradshaw is an appropriate idol for Preity Zinta. She should continue arguing with those who tell her it does not look nice. Prancing is her birthright. Prancing is her birthright .....and she can do that at 37 and at 73. LOL

I love the background song, its catchy. I don't about others, but I will definitely watch this movie for Preity. Now only if she could change those awful veneers which give a gaunt look to her otherwise pretty face, she'll be like her old self again.

Why it's okay for Deepika to prance around like this Cocktail and not okay for Preity? Deepika is no spring chicken either, she is 27. why its okay for a woman of 27 partying like she is 19? You mean to say, when one is in her 30's, the joy and curiosity that people generally associate with a younger person just disappears? How come when Carrie Bradshaw was doing the same thing in Sex and the City, which chronicled her journey from 33 till she was almost 39, everyone was eating out of her Fendi Baguette clutching hands? And when a desi girl does it, its desperate? Why such double standards?

PZ is the same. she's upbeat, can dance and looks great. who says her career's over b/c she's 30+? the dude however has to GO. shows zero personality on screen and to think this was just a few minutes in a song, cant imagine having to go thru a entire film watching him. yikes! what were they thinking casting him??!! could PC not find any talent else where? There are 100's of talented new comers out there, a fresh face couldn't have hurt. i think B'wood needs to come out of this need to seek and portray 20 something year olds. 50 is the new 30 for crying out loud. Cast older TALENTED men.
I didnt get a very good feel after watching this song promo, but i really hope this movies does good for Priety.
@Mila_in_NY: I think the ageist commentors are probably young people (mostly girls) who've been taught that women in their thirties should have five kids and be sitting at home making parathas. lol! Man, if I do end up having five kids in my thirties I'm still not gonna stop partying.
But I really don't think this movie will work though. I have no confidence in the director and it's a first time vanity project with very little hype.

If she doesn't have anything different than the new girls why would she do the film. I want all the actresses to learn from Sridevi. See what Sri has chosen. She could make a comeback with a mature glamorous role but she cameback with the right script, Thats how an actress should be.
well i dont think we should be so harsh on her. i agree it doesnt look so great. but after a long break for whatever reason, she is trying to make efforts to come back at the age of 37. she could have just married some NRI or businessman and chilled at home. but she is doing something. none of the big names are with her. she is working with newcomers and putting her own money. we should appreciate the effort.

Wasn't expecting much but the trailor makes me wanna go watch it...looks light and entertaining. Preity is looking good. For those laughing at her, you are showing ageism, a limited mindset. One day you will be Preity's age too, and maybe find yourself single, and ambitious about venturing out and finding yourself, and then we will see how you feel about women your age and their work.
@Mila_in_NY: When I read the ageist comments about Preity just dancing around, I immediately thought of Carrie, too! I love SATC for showing that women (or rather, people) can have fun and be silly beyond their teens and twenties. I think Preity should play a fun, bubbly character if she wants to

Prem Soni made a REALLY terrible film called Main aur Mrs Khanna. By terrible I don't mean, "the story was crap" or "it had regressive messaging." I mean that the film looked like a badly shot home video with lines scripted by a seven year old. Preity is styled abysmally in this, which is sad, because she is probably Bollywood's original "fashionista." She is photographed in a way that is alternately unflattering and ridiculous (the soft focus in the trailer? WHUT.) Her lead actor is pretty but, from his earlier work, has zero personality and a terrible voice. Sajid-Wajid, who are complete hacks, are doing the music.
I really want this movie to work. Preity is so talented, and used to be so fierce and refreshing. She stood up to the underworld, she played strong, independent women, she ran her own business. I want her to keep acting, because she is good at it.
I just wish she'd picked a better team and that this film didn't smell so strongly of "vanity project."
And OH, SNAP. You schooled Pinkvilla_boy. I LOLed hard at that, not gonna lie. :)
Preity hasn't done anything drastic yet. All it is, is botox and if she stops her face will go back to normal just look at Nicole Kidman.
