She's beautiful and she speaks well. I love people who dare to break society's phony standards. All the men who call her a sl ut themselves spend hours watching porn secretly but point fingers at and try to shame any woman who dares to embrace her sexuality boldly.

I know what I am talking about. I've come across at least a few people in my life who are not adherent to any culture or religion who'd object to something like this if their daughter was doing it. I do agree that there's very little left to imagination when girls wear bikinis but it's still that extr bit that is left unshown matters to the human mind. I'm sure you've come across many fathers as I have (atheists, liberal, etc.) who in their sane mind would find it unacceptable for their daughters to strip naked and pose for a magazine cover. It's called fatherly instinct. Fathers who view their daughters "differently" turn out to be cases like Fritzl.

Respect, be it anyone is something that is earned and not demanded......i can see that u really like her for obvious reasnons.....but thats your taste and values and what you like to stand up for.....if these are the kind of women you respect......for just following thier need for fame and shedding thier clothes to get it, i dont know what to say to you........im sure you dont want your wife or daughter to be that woman......who goes around shedding her clothes exhibiting her privates for other men to ogle and jerk themselves off at........

well mixed reactions at watching her discussing how she modeled for playboy. The thing that stuck me is the fact that she does not know of her family's reactions especially her mother. we, as desi's, are used to close knit families and sharing almost everything with them. The second thing is the fact that the so called journalists there were judgmental towards her by asking her such personal questions that she chose to answer in an appropriate manner. I have to agree with the other comments below. Bollywood has become trashy and showing skin, with a saree or western clothes. The difference is that she owes up to it and is not hypocritical. Such sincerity is something our society is not used to. This industry has item songs with over sexualised women and is promoting a movie with a porn actress in it. Where is the sati savitri in this mercy industry who could throw the first stone at her without being hypocritical? Nobody

Cant expect much from a dad who would be proud of his daughter being naked on a magazine for men.....look what he has given birth to!....a woman with such low self esteem that she wants to go naked just to get fame and male attention.........its so damn sick....!!.....its unimaginable how some ppl contribute to thier offsprings ruin by not teaching them the right values......
maybe like some of you say its ok for dads to be supportive of thier daughters profession be it pornography or modelling nude......maybe some dads are really ok with it.....coz of thier own displaced values and sense of right and wrong or respectable or unrespectable............its still very disturbing to think that some dads might be ok with seeing thier daughters naked on a mens magazine........its just plain perversion........

What you're talking about are still religious and cultural hangups, nothing more, they are not universal. Not all societies/people function that way and neither do all fathers go around covering their bikini clad girls.
The difference between bikini wearing top tier heroines and playboy covers is now almost nill. Guys are fapping onto the bikini stills/rain drenched sari shots as much as they are to the magazines (probably more). If we're going to pretend men throwing money at women is an issue then 99% of the young women in the industry are kind of doing the same thing. Which leads to the double standard that all filmi women are ##!@ and the men are not.

Whatever be the case, I liked hearing her speak (cute voice and clarity in words), appreciate that kinda boldness and honesty, and there is charm in her plus a kind of beauty. Wish she hadn't messed with her lips as it looks very fake. I still don't welcome this new step she took though. Some Dads may silently support their daughters bold decisions not because they LIKE what they have chosen but because they respect their independence.

this isn't about having double standards. For instance, your dad had a girlfriend obviously he looks at that woman in his life with love, adoration as well as in a sexual way. Isn't his girlfriend a daughter/a sister of someone else's? However, it is perfectly okay psychologically and societally to see someone in that manner. However, no dad, or rather I should say, a perfectly sane father will congratulate his daughter about getting naked for a money (clicking pictures and making money out of it). Heck, dads get uncomfortable seeing their daughters romancing a man on screen (innocent romance) and this is just a fatherly instinct.
