The Godrej lady is so weird :S like really, how abt dress up in your traditional attired like Oprah did instead. lol no matter. Godrej lady was, is and will always be strange. Most of these folks are straight out of that PAGE3 film. strange ''wannabe'' folks minus a few.
It looks like she saw right through them, their elitist behaviour was not hidden from Oprah who is a philanthropist. I think Oprah got a shock between the contrast with the ordinary people and then the "muah mua" people traipsing all around and over her (this includes Snr B following her like a puppy dog along the pool side). Come to think of it they proved how "junglee" they are by posing with photographs with her, can't they hold a conversation and remember that or did the twitter accounts need validation? Sad.
pinkvilla please publish: it goes to show the mentality of indians, now matter how rich or famous they will always fawn over a rich american. do you think oprah would have held such a huge grand affair for parmeshwar godrej or anyone else at that party, for that matter? and to think that oprah said that she saw ashwarya and abisheks spawn, i mean - they dont do the courtesy of showing their fans their spawns pics, but they show oprah? i mean if you ask me, sujata deserves more to meet the bachan spawn than oprah!!! pathetic

i didnt watch the vid (and dont plan to) but did she really compare abishek bachan to tom cruise? if so, that is unbelievable utter trash and a complete insult to tom cruise - who is an outrageously successful self-made global star who cant even remotely be mentioned in the same breath as abishek.

Saw this and I must say that the only humble person who is well-accomplished in his field is A.R. Rehman. The others may call themselves "actors" and I use that term very loosely but they are nothing. The way she introduced Abhishek made me want to vomit! She said he has "acted" (again, I use that term so loosely) in more than fifty movies which she says is more than Tom Cruise. It is not quantity but quality, Miss Winfrey. The guy is only in movies because of his father and Tom Cruise may have acted in fewer movies but his acting is quality and Tom Cruise did not use his parents' names to make it into movies!
