Go Sridevi. This is exactly why global media is now calling her the Meryl Streep of India.

Anonymous's picture

Looks at her expressions. This is NATURAL ACTING. Not like other actresses who call themselves dancers.

Smash-hit song. It was the only song playing at Ganapati puja pandals in Mumbai this time. Sridevi is a goddess.

What a beautiful song..........falling short of words to praise Amit Trivedi's magic on this song. Super Like!!

The Versality Queen Sridevi does full justice to this melodious song Navrai Maajhi, with her brilliant moves and facial expressions. Thank God, there's no Vulgar Jhatkas and Matkas ...Simple and Divine, that's Sridevi !!

In Navrai Maajhi song from English Vinglish, the sparkling arrangement is complete with soft guitar strums in the backdrop. Swanand, his mother Neelambari, Sunidhi Chauhan and the Canadian Natalie Di Luccio have given delightful results. Superb soundtrack from Amit.

Stupid facial expressions along with the "overbite face" looks so stupid. Completely overrated!

Sridevi has always been a TRENDSETTER and she does it again. The usual Punjabi dhin-chak, over the top loud wedding songs have been done to death. Here's an original wedding number that is melodious and catchy and so realistic. With the song already a rage, the coming Ganapati puja will make it even more popular

I love the way this song has been shot, it captures the happiness and the wedding festivities in such a natural, beautiful manner. Sridevi's expressions, her movements, its just extraordinary. This song put me in a good mood!

Awww! It's so nice to see her dancing again. I wish to see more if the character/role allows it! She's such a naturally talented dancer.

Camera, action and you have Sri Devi. Natural and so comfortable in her own skin you have to remind yourself this is a movie and she just an actress. Sheer magic!

Want more dancing

Anonymous's picture

She looks really young!

She is a good actor but I will never be able to watch her movies ever again. Yes, I am being judgemental and an actor's personal choices should have no bearing on their work but I feel by watching her movie, I would be condoning her behaviour of breaking someone's marriage and then marrying their husband. I know she is far less to blame than Bonny but it's a shame because I enjoyed quite a few of her movies as a kid.
