Some silly anon commenting in Salman's english, r u a villager who's just gone abroad and now think everyone else is still living in a village?? Your english is very passable thats all, and here u r judging someone's ability to be articulate in english simply because they chose to speak in hindi. He was extremely articulate in Hindi btw.

Its common knowledge that the better the school, the better someone's english. I have seen dumb rich kids speak better english that poor intelligent people just coz they had the oppurtunity to go to a better school. Being fluent in a langauge is not the same as being arcticulate or being eloquent. And abhiskek was ok, not like some shining example of someone who's able to hold a witty conversation. For goodness sake he calls his 4 week old baby an 'obedient child' as if she's 10 yrs old!

Salman Khan's dad is a scriptwriter who's written some of the most powerful dialogues in URDU - as salman just gave an example..u think he would speak mumbaiyya hindi at home ( nothing wrong with that btw) but Salman Khans family and his dad have been so advanced culturally 50 yrs ago, u think they do not pass on skills like good english to their kids or not have the means to send them to some of the best schools in the country??

As I said u seem to be a villager who's just gone abroad and thinks u've arrived..darling many people including Salman Khan have been travelling abroad for donkeys years!

Could any of the Salman fans who are commenting here, post any video of any of his interviews in English?

actually i am proud that salman spoke hindi.
you should be speaking your mother tongue and of course salman can articulate in english very well.

Who asked you who you want to marry??? Nobody is interested in your personal life. Also, just so you know Salman is an actor in INDIA and the language that is spoken in India is Hindi. This isn't America or England. If you think speaking English is what makes you classy then yes you definitely shouldn't marry an entertainer. In fact you probably shouldn't marry an indian. You probably are aware that 90% of our country does not speak english?? So are you suggesting that 90% of our country does not have class??? Some pride huh??

salman CAN speak english, fairly well too. Hes not highly educated but none of them really are. And to all the nonsense about Salman speaking in mumbaiya hindi if he got called on Oprah, well honey Salman primarily hosted the bashes for Will Smith when he came to India in '06 or something. Will Smith even thanked Salman on stage for some of award show for being such a good host and about finding a new friend.

Abhishek doesn't have 'class' either. Its just put on and his 'wit' and 'humour' get real stale real fast. Plus for all the allegations that you have cited against salman, heres some for the bachchan family. Papa Bachchan has publicly cheated on his wife and embarrassed his family, he has instigated the public for political reasons, and his son, the oh-so-classy abhishek has beat up a reporter. No ones really 'classy' here love, they are all clowns for hire. Its healthier for you if you view them as that.

Salman's speech was very lovely, with nice humor and without too much boring words (i just do not name the guy who let the audience went to sleep)

abhishek was a superstar's (MALE) kid. got movies. didn't do well.

ESHA was superstar's ( hema and dharam) kid didn't do well.

guess that unknown baby girl will not even think of bwood look at unsuccessful dad .. no chance for her :( and yeah.. nobody cares if ur mommy was super star!

I am not saying that you shouldn't speak your native language. I also enjoyed Salman's style; that why he is such an entertainer and audience connects with him. Entertainers are good to watch on screen, but I wouldn't like to marry a entertainer. And that too, when only 10% of time he entertains, remaining 90% of his real life time he drinks, beats up women, does rash driving and bullies others

Also, living abroad , I would never want to marry a guy who cannot articulate well in English, people in the US make jokes on them , and I have never seen Salman give interviews in English, or crack jokes in English. Abhi outsmarted Oprah on her show, which shows hit sharpness of mind and sense of humor. Ash made the right choice. I would also have chosen an intelligent , decent, guy from a good family (even if wasn''t very succesful in his career) over someone who is considered massiah of poor . Class matters , and Abhi has class.

first of all, if Salman and Aishwarya got married, Salman would NOT go on Oprah's show with her. he doesnt seem like the one to do that. he will definitely not be a jhoru ka gulam and follow his wife everywhere.
