Those who were having doubts about her performing on Dola Re, plz watch the video & post your comments. Despite not being a trained dancer like Madhuri, I think Bips managed to deliver a decent performance.

To say MAdhuri is a trained dancer don't compare blah blah is an excuse. Bipasha has been in the industry for so many years if she can contribute so much time in exercising .why not contribute time in learning dance and acting. Look at katrina she has improved a lot .Even priyanka used to be such a pathetic dancer n now look at her. It is a matter of interest and commitment.
She did a decent job. As for the bipasha song please there was no actual dance in tht song and i beg to differ she is not hip hop dancer or anything. A dancer is a dancer. She is not naturally graceful dancer. She is just swaying her way in the industry .

The movement of the upper body while keeping your lower body rigid is quite difficult. Try doing it yourself and watch yourself in the mirror. This is a whole course taught in dance schools (I am currently doing it). Some people are good cloassical movies, whereas some people are good at other styles. I have been in peforming arts for several years now and we have been taught traditional hip-hop which you may see in earlier Rihanna and Beyonce videos and now, hip hop has branched out with mixing in other forms of dancing. Most of Bipasha's dance sequences consist of this form of dancing which is essentially to shake your hips, move your arms and legs but the main frame of the body remains sort of rigid.

She is not as good as Madhuri obviously and this is not her genre of dancing. But well tried. Those moves aren't exactly easy to perform. Madhuri is a trained dancer and an actress for many years. However, Bipasha can dance but she's more in hip-hop-ish, contemporary style. She was good in Bipasha Bipasha, as well the song from Players - Ho Gayi Tun. Those aren't exactly easy moves you know?! I've been dancing at an academy for the past 5 years believe me, moving the upper body without moving the lower takes a lot of composure. And Aish, I don't know if she's a trained dancer or not but I don't find her an amazing dancer. She has a number of takes before her shot is "okay-d". Priyanka did an amazing job in Gun Guna Re in Agneepath.

All the movements are there, but there is no grace in them. Sorta like she is doing her homework assignment. Good effort though.
Bips, as breathtakingly beautiful as she is, sadly, is no dancer! No grace in her movements!
You're right it's a descent performance, she can dance BUT I also agree to Anon. who mention about the lack of grace on hands & hips movements (and I'm saying it as a viewer & not trying to compare her to You-know-who).
Btw, this is actually the 1st time I saw her doing classical dance, so it's a nice try
Sorry but i have to say that Bipasha tried but failed. 0 expressions and was moving as she was a tree trunk. I guess even Ash haters right here maybe will agree that she dances much better than Bips..

EPIC FAIL! mind you don't think any actress can match the grace and dance steps of Madhuri or Aishwarya. Priyanka has potential to be a good dancer if she works hard at it.

Nope!! She sucked but she looked pretty.
She danced okay, but there is no star power. She looks lost within the rest of the backing dancers. Also, her facial expressions looked like she was in rehearsals.
