I don't really know about the background of the interviewer so I can't comment on her accent, just sounds like an American accent to me. ~shrug~ Bit off topic, but I find that she does look a bit like Omar Quereshi, probably just by coincidence! Anyway I just got a giggle out of Kareena's "runaway" comment... ;)

you know its put-on because she keeps on losing the 'American' accent, she reverts back to the desi accent quite a few times in just a couple of sentences. American accent is not subtle, you either have it or you don't and its usually pretty strong regardless of the region its from, take Nargis Fakhri for instance, her accent is unmistakable.
As far as Kareena is concerned, its not the accent its the enunciation. She stresses on a few syllables so runway sounds runaway when she is saying 'runnnnway', emphasizing the 'n'. The first 2 pictures are pretty horrible, agree with you on that.
Hmmm I watched it again and yep it sounds like she's either saying runaway or run..UHH...way. Don't think it was her accent or anything like that, I mean someone like Deepika has a pretty heavy accent and she knows how to say "runway"... either way hopefully the next time Lakme assigns that makeup artist/designers from the 2 looks in the top pic Kareena really will RUN AWAY! :)
But I don't know about the interviewer, it just sounds like she has an American accent. I wouldn't be able to judge whether it was put on or not without knowing her background, where she was brought up, went to school, etc...

She is a naturally beautiful woman ! too much makeup and all tht does not suit her! I wish they kept her makeup VERY natural! Then her eyes would have looked gorgeous! & also the hair should have been open! & honestly I love her lovely cheekbones! She looks very exotic & unique bcoz of tht! Innocent & indian face with high cheekbones!

She did say 'runway' not 'runaway', its just that she stressed on 'run' for a bit longer than most people do but I guess thats the way she usually speaks. I actually appreciate the way she speaks than the put-on accent of the interviewer

Kareena has always had high cheekbones but on top of it, they're highlighted (too strongly if I say so) with makeup. You know like with contouring and highlighting?
