Aamir Khan celebrates his 47th birthday
Actor-producer Aamir Khan turned 47 Wednesday and celebrated his big day with journalists at his residence here. "I am humbled that you all are here to wish me. My day starts with you, with your good wishes," said an overwhelmed Aamir who welcomed the media outside his Pali Hill residence. He cut a cake and spoke to reporters. "I would thank god who has given me all the success and happiness that god has showered on me in my personal life. We were recently blessed with a kid named Azad so I am thankful to god," said the actor, dressed casually in shorts and a T-shirt. With each passing year, Aamir looks younger and says that it is all because of his parents' genes. "There is no secret behind this. I would only thank my 'ami' and 'abbajaan' who has given me these genes. Whatever we are, it is given by our parents. I try to live a healthy life," he said.

Please!! I met Aamir in London when he came for the Lagaan Screening at BFI.
He was very quiet.. not that exciting.
He looked old. He had puffy eyes..and dark circles...I am sure he has had botox and perhaps some other minor surgeries to his face. In much the same way as Salman has..and even Dharmendra. I know we always make a big deal when the actresses do it..but let's not forget the men get it done too.
He's looking like "John Cena" in these pics # Haha ;)

At 47--Aamir doesn't look it, but easily 5 years younger, if not more. Good genes, healthy living, diet and regular exercize, some help from science-cosmetic procedures--he looks as good as a showbiz person should. He has stopped smoking completely since over a year--and he was always an on-offf smoker, never a continuous chimney, so...the facial skin looks pink and healthy.
Yes, he is short, so bloody what? He is 5'6" in height -and he is in good company--Al Pacino who is certainly not taller than hamara Aamir.
And Aamir still looks cute, has a lovely smiling face, a feel good happy air about him--and no, he certainly does NOT look like a nerd, more like a sports playing neighbour.
Just wish he would make more films, faster. Uff, SUCH a slowcoach.
And why does SRK need to be brought in to this discussion--why mention him at all. These insecure SRK fans....
i wish my grandpa could afford to fill his face with botox....he wants to look like aamir;)

I love how he wears his superstardom very lightly on his shoulders. A big star yet a regular man which is so apparent. And someone who only believes in his work speaking for itself. Tremendously respect his work ethic.
