Dum Maaro Dum opens to positive reviews
The movie opened to a good response both from the critics and the audiences. Some are saying it could have been slightly better if the climax was shortened but they still say it is worth a watch. Bipasha and Rana's performances have come under flak. But Abhishek can finally heave a sigh of relief. k I just watched it today..have to say it was AWESOME :) I dont care about numebrs and what critics say it was great..I watched it in theatre and have to say I stayed on my seat throughout I wasnt even tired and teh theatre was pretty packed for a tuesday night and this is in canada. Abhishek blew me away and the story and songs everything was great..overall 4/5!!!!!!!!!!!!
DMD is a good movies the story the cinematography is very nice but the worst part of the movie was abishek bachchan he is no dull on screen and a very lazy actor if sum1 with gr8 acting n screen presence did dat role the movie wud b fantastic
I really liked DMD! Abhishek was so good, I was impressed by all the performances, the brilliant cinematography, and the gripping suspense. The downsides for me was that Bips didn't have much to do, and the music could have been better.

Taran Adarsh (IndiaFM) and others are putting wrong numbers to show the movie in poor light. Looks like he didn't get the payment from the producers of DMD.
@RohanSippy put the real numbers on his Twitter page. Going by the collections, it should be collecting its budget in 3 days. Sure shot hit!
Critics reviews are mixed- average to good, public reviews are mostly positive. Everyone is in praise for Abhishek's acting. But sadly this hasn't turned into cash at box office. Opening was dull -30-40% first day, collections were around 5 crore day 1. Which is very sad for Abhi's career. Inspite of everything being good, he can't get a decent hit
Dum Maaro Dum is already a FLOP as it had a very Dull opening at the BO on friday according to indiafm and other BO sites. The reviews are mixed.
Another ridiculous title. Another stupid movie. Another attempt at trying to be "different" failed.

DMD ROCKS!!! loved the direction..phadooo dialogues. Rana, Bips, Prateik, Abhi have all acted well......and by god Deepika is sizzzzzllling hot.
Anon below, TOI gave 3.5/5, Filmfare - 4/5, DNA - 3/5, India Today - 3.5/5. Are all these mixed reviews? Yes, there have been some 2.5 reviews as well. 2/5 is considered average. Hence 2.5/5 will be above average, whereas 3/5 is good. Above average is definitely positive. Plus no review absolutely trashed the review calling it terrible. Each one at least said "It is worth at least one watch." So open your eyes!!

I saw it and had a great time with my friends. Abhi is awesome, Rana looks hot....The movie is fast paced and good story line...great ending! Must watch ...atleast once.

I saw the video of the ppl from the theater coming out,it got mixed reviews from them soo far,but Abhi got a thumbs up on his acting,Finally,he has talented he just needs a good director to take it out,good for him

i liked the movie a lot, a good movie of abhi after bunty aur babli. i first thought all it had going was deepika's dmd like kat's shiela, but the movie was pretty entertaining.

NDTV slates all movies. Rarely they will give good rating to any movie. Even if the movie was superhit, I have rarely seen NDTV (Anupma Chopra) giving a 4 rating to any movie in the past
All of my friends who have seen it have loved it !!!!!!!! They said AB is too good in the movie. So I guess he's back with a Bang:)))).
I heard its a total masala flick.....the opening is decent but will pick up soon through positive word of mouth.
