Preity's replaces Priyanka in Comeback film!
Lately, Preity has been looking younger, refreshed, and back in the limelight. Even though it seems like she has gotten some major work done to improve her image, she nonetheless looks more like she used to a few years ago. On another website, an astrologer had predicted that Preity Zinta will bounce back this year and this news seems to confirm her much awaited COMEBACK! But sadly Priyanka has lost another film. Times of India Perhaps Bachchan Jr, who is also part of the Italian Job, is not too pleased with her decision? Whatever the reason, Priyanka has lost out on The Italian Job remake as well. A source says, “Priyanka was keen to work in Rohan Sippy’s film. They had worked together in Bluffmaster and wanted to be paired with him again, but it turned out to be a role with South star Rana Daggubati. So she chose to opt out, citing date problems. Rohan was aghast and grumbled about her to his friend Abhishek. This, in turn, upset Abhishek. Apparently, the actress chose to instead work in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Ek Bataa Saat.” This incident was the last straw in the Abhishek-Priyanka relationship, which was already distressed. The source adds, “The cracks started developing in the Abhishek-Priyanka relationship over the last year. It all started with a tiff they had backstage over a performance. Then, Aishwarya Rai was miffed with Priyanka over a remark made by her on stage while accepting an award at a function. Since then, things have turned sour between the two. However, the final nail in the coffin was her backing out of the Rohan project, upsetting Abhishek to no end.” The Italian Job stars Abhishek Bachchan, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Kunal Kapoor and Akshaye Khanna. Commenting on the star cast, the source says, “Abbas Mustan’s Italian Job is a huge film. The film’s casting has been in process since a long time. To avoid further issues, the makers have officially announced only Katrina Kaif’s name as of now. They are now considering Preity Zinta to replace Priyanka.*****Preity will make her comeback with this film in a completely new and sexy avatar.” **** Priyanka’s manager was noncommittal. He says, “Nothing has been finalised with regards to The Italian Job. She has only signed Vishal Bhardwaj’s film at the moment. As for Rohan’s film, Priyanka has not even heard the script, so how can she opt out of the film?”

She just seems a lot younger and looks very young like a 20-year old and gives of a girlish informal air. that's all. take it as a compliment that she's in her mid-30's yet looks so young!!! Pri on the other hand, seems more older and in fact is born in 1982. Yes, Preity is talented-- she gave a shout-out to her aunt-- and in retrospect, that was nice!!! She was very nice in the Unforgettable Tour-- she danced the the Pretty Woman song.. and she was! Preity is lovely and did not mean negative things against her. See.. she has a face we dont' prefer (she has got large jaws and a round face)-- we prefer Lisa Ray's or Priyanka's face shape over Preity's. But that's the best part of having different stars and different preferences. we need not compare them. We can say they are all lovely in their own ways-- and you like your star, we like ours. but it is sad that someone disses Pri to up.. Preity.. that is not right either.
Priety is a much better actress than priyanka. Someone below said preity overacts. Priyanka is the one who overacts. Priety is in the league of kajol and rani. And priyanka should be compared with her contempariers like deepika and katrina!
see u cant compare preity n priyanka dey r contemporaries, talented, beautiful, n both r super successful...u dnt need to show sum1 else down to raise da othr's standard...dere hav been many films dat preity has refused n priyanka's got...so in dat sense dey r in da same league...n moreover dey r like friends u can see dat on twitter...i really dnt undrstnd y u guys hav a problem if dey dnt xchanging roles...personally i like both of dem...preity's classy, trendy n lot of fun 2 watch on screen..on da othr hand priyanka is peppy, sassy n spontaeneous on screen
compare Priety to that gen. Preity is of Aish's and Sush's generation.. wake up. She's be mid-35 this end of Jan, buddy. she must have good wrinkle creams, cause she still looks so young tho. She's much closer to their age (Aish and Sush) than even Pri (who is still in her late 20's, seems to be on the level of Aish cause she's accomplished a whole lot fast). Pri is still the last Miss World winner (Diana and Yukta won before her). So don't think a crown makes someone stay in Bollywood.. it's work.

Pri was born in the 1980's .. she's if a different genration. u got your generations confused, buddy! and don't compare em.. they're two totally different stars... saw them both live. Preity is nice.. but though older, still a girl (she gave a shout-out to her aunt, rather than focusing on the audience that much). Pri is all professional and could handle theater in a flash-- she's a livewire bundle of talent!-- definitely a woman of the world and stunning beyond what you can think. don't compare a girl (Priety) and a woman (Pri).
Pic above air brushed big time! Kinda find Preity over acts at times, comes across as an annoying brat. Having said that, she is a rare beauty, its a shame she spoilt that by going under the knife.
Sun, 2010-01-24 13:41: look, Preity's great.. but r u kidding!!?? only one in this generation to become huge w/ crown, godfather or bf?? first of all, she is Salman's buddy. when was she so huge? In the Unforgetable tour, all the attention was on Aish and Madhuri alone.. poor Preity was but ignored a bit....
2nd, she's a few years older than Rani (i.e 2), and Rani went way way beyond her.
I think preity desereves more than Priyanka nayday. Preity had made it on her own, without a crown or a godfather or a boyfriend. She is perhaps the only one from this gerneation to do that and become huge.

Pri worked hard to work where she's at.. she does not deserve a smaller parallel role- if she's out of the film, good wise move.
