There have been some haters (read losers) who've been saying bulls**t that they were given seats in the corner etc. So this post was for them to shut up. And btw, how small can your intelligence be if you think ONE post about Ash at Oscars in Pinkvilla will get her "FAME IN THE WEST"? You sound like a big hater yourself!

hahahaha... so what? AR won oscars for his music and Anil won for his movie! they were actually on stage! aish-abhi didnt do anything... they just desperate losers!

the fact that Sujata had to make this post to desperately show that Ash and Abhi were there is a fact in itself: that no one in the West cares about them! Ash's PR (Sujata included) is so desperate to get her fame in the West! fame she's never going to get; her "charm" only works in India! also, sad that so many of you can't digest what my white American friend so eloquently said about Aish when i was talking about Bollywood to my friend: "who cares?!"

Anon, just tell me one thing. Will Sujata making this post get Ash fame in the West? LMAO. Well, that's your level of intelligence.

But I'm quite sure the reason she made the post is because of the haters. They kept saying no one knows them there and no one cares about them needed to be proved wrong and she did exactly that! Sitting in the 3rd row ahead of several Hollywood elites and Oscar winners and nominees is one of the biggest things ever! And it really needed to be said. I cannot understand why would people complain of this? I mean the title and the picture informs you what's in the post. Yet you took the pain to click on the post and complain about it. I mean, WTF! Only losers who had been proven wrong are complaining since heavy flames are coming out of their @sses. They are BURNING!

that's really them and those are really awesome seats! BUT.......

it's a shame that so many of you are just so naive or simply don't know what goes on backstage regarding publicity, etc. in Hollywood. let me break it down for you since i work in the "biz." those seats originally belonged to two other guests who couldn't attend last minute (Aish admitted herself that they were "invited last minute") and so the seats were put up on "auction" lets say to various publicists, etc. well, Ash's very powerful L.A. management was able to secure the seats for her and Abhi to attend. granted, the Academy did allow them to have the seats assuming because they are huge Bollywood stars (no argument there) BUT the Academy DID NOT INVITE THEM! Academy invited guests are invited several months in advance of the show. so, Aish's management was just able to get the seats for them last minute, that's all.

also, the first several rows aren't composed of just celebrities: the celebrities are strategically placed WITH "nobodies." and, the truth (something you blind Ash fans don't want to believe) is that Aish and Abhi were just another set of nobodies here. they are not famous in the West. simple as that.

Wherever she was seated with her husband, the fact remains that she was invited and it was a prestitgious function and and she was there. So why gripe about it? Be proud for the Indians invited, and winning awards. Give them some credit ppl. The problem is only the Indians will complain and write negatively about the Indians that is why indians can never be united, thats the sad part! Learn from the Chinese counterparts pp...they are well corporative, and never say negative things about their people. Only the Indians will grip because they have no other work. They just want to prove how smart they are

It's nice to see Indian actors treated respectfully here in the US.There aren't too many of them and many here appreciate only a few Hindi films. Aishwarya is one of the few known people. Considering the fact that they weren't part of nominated films, she and her hubby didn't do badly at all.

The Hispanic side of my family love Salma, Penelope,Gael Garcia Bernal , my all American friends love Natalie Portman just like I do and my few Indian relatives feel happy to see Ash- an exotic Indian beauty with these international stars. Saw Will Smith go ga ga over her on camera, so if he was at the Oscars he would had some kind words for her too. I heard she met her ex co star, Oscar winner Colin Firth as well. Not bad at all.

It's obvious that them being given such importance will make other stars' fans jealous! Fans of those stars who, forget about being seated in the front rows, they weren't even invited to the prestigious awards show.
