Ahsan khan a huge star in Pakistan and after getting immense success in Pakistan industry, he wants to broaden his experience in cinema and hence took up offer from an Indian director Deepti Naval, who saw his performance in many Pakistani dramas and offered him a role in a film.

let's see if he makes it as big as Ali Zafar! good luck to him, he surely got the looks and talent!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well known Pakistani TV actor Ahsan Khan who walked the ramp at the Pantene Bridal Couture Week 2012 on Day 1 looked all royal in a traditional sherwani and red turban. He said, "I have walked the ramp several times and it is always a joy to dress up different."

Talk about his entry in Bollywood movies and he tells us, "I have been getting offers from Bollywood. In fact, I have signed a Bollywood movie directed by Deepti Naval. The film shoot should begin soon." He further adds, "I met Deepti ji in a show in America. She loved my performance and walked to me and asked whether I would be interested to do a Bollywood movie. For a moment I was shocked and then instantly I smiled and told a yes to her."

So what does he think about Pakistani actors being part of Bollywood movies and he says, "It's a great platform for any Pakistani artist to perform in India. I think it's refreshing to see Bollywood movies including Pakistani actors. The change is a welcome. Hopefully, this will help us to bridge the gap between both the nations and bring in more peace and harmony. The cultural exchange is a great move and hope we get to see more artists from India also coming to Pakistan."

He continues, "We feel proud when we see Indian fan followers for our artists and actors. It's a huge motivation and encouragement for us."

So when do he plan to visit India? "Inshaallah! I should be there soon in India for the shooting of my movie."

Deepti naval didn't find an actor from the millions of super talented stage artists in India who need the money and respect more than any foreigner? Strange that these people are never heard of until they come to India and then all Pakistanis start shouting slogans at Hindus and Indians feeling all proud and abusing Indian actors (what an irony!). What has the world come to! Two-nation theory only comes to use to Pakistanis while attacking cities like Mumbai I guess, otherwise it's all money.
================
there you go with your racism again, im sorry but its you who is suffering from memory loss, your very own music directors called our top musicians to come and sing in your movies and these talented singer have given you huge hits. can the bollywood run without atif aslam, rahat fateh ali khan and shafqat amanat ali? they are not begging to come to India, YOU invite them! AND who invited ali Zafar, your very own director who saw him in a youtube video. its not like nobody knows them, MOST OF them are already huge stars in Pakistan. you invite them, because you guys like their talent and want new faces. and they take this opportunity to widen their cinema experience, just like many of your actors went to hollywood to broaden their experience. get over with this jahal mentality that everyone is dying to come to your land.

he looks like an Afghani gay! not an Indian hero type at all.

What are YOU smoking? I'm not taking any country's side here as this is a purely entertainment site and it's useless to discuss political issues here, but have you EVEN SEEN AGENT VINOD? The movie showed both Indian and Pakistani agents in both positive and negative light. Kareena Kapoor was a Pakistani agent in the film and she was shown as one of the "good people", whereas Shahbaz Khan was shown as a corrupted officer from Pakistan. Similarly, Saif from India has been shown in a positive light whilst the main villains from the film, Colonel and the big business guy from India (I forget his character's name) have been shown as the bad guys from India. The film, good or bad was not trying to promote a particular country.

Don't speak unless you have seen the movie.

okay fine. my bad I apologize, but once you look at the trailer this is the kinda impression one gets, however that does not change the facts that Indian cinema has made infinite movies where Pakistan is shown in a very negative way, whereas this hasnt happend so far in a Pakistan movie. to potray your neighbour as bad, this wouldnt bridge the gaps but further increase them.anyhow, lets keep politics out of it. peace!

If there was a Pakistani movie that showed the RAW agent as the baddy and ISI agent as the good hero, would it ever be released in India ?
What's so difficult to understand ?
It would be insulting the intelligence of the people of the country in question, to think so.
What was Saif and the director of the film smoking ?
It's like peeing on somebody's leg and saying that its raining.

and this is not the first time anti Pakistani movie is made, its being happening since 1947!!
no wonder why so much hatred is instilled in many Indian fellows

Why import artists from a country that bans our Indian films?

can bollywood survive an year without Rahat fateh ali khan, shafqat Amanat ali and Atif Aslam?
they beg our singers to come and sing in their movies and how amazing then they diss our artists too?

stop inviting them, if you dislike them so much!

Anonymous's picture

i find it amazing that its alright for bollywood to make money from the pakistanis (their second biggest market after india) and the demise of pakistani cinema but its considered offensive by indians for pakistanis actors/ actresses to be in bollywood movies.
pakistnis welcome all artist from bollywood but because of political reasons the big stars would not be seen there. kiron kher and other older talented actresses have worked in pakistani dramas even collaborated on films, singers such as delar mahdi ahave been holding concerts for years. i guess you can make money from us but if we work with you its like the sky's fallen down.

Average looking chap. If he's big in Pakistan,I'd suggest he stay there instead of getting lost in the other wannabes here.
To answer this question...."Why don't Indian stars act in Pakistan movies ? Why do Pakistani actors come here to India?"
Indian movies are very popular in a whole lot of places worldwide .They have bigger stars, bigger budgets & bigger cash. A Pakistani actor may find it more suitable for their ambitions to be realised in India. I have listened to fabulous Pakistani music, but I know absolutely nothing about their movies or their actors. Not that their movies are bad or anything ,but I have never ever seen it.

he is very good looking and acting comes so natural to him!

you are right we would never accept Indian artists because our industry would never be able to pay them big bucks:) come on guys...Pakistani loves Bollywood and we love your artists as much as you do...we make good dramas but we cant make good films like you do,even our own film artists, singers and musicians are jobless for years, first of all we can't afford your artists! we are very happy and thankful that your industry accept them generously and gives them so much international exposure.peace out.

india please stop this nonsense....... in Pakistan when they know u are an indian or a non -muslim, they always try to harm you. Those people r hypocrites. Ban a film but see them through pirated CD's or cable Tv telecasts. Such narrow minded people. Yesterday #shutupindia was trending in pakistan. Honestly isnt attractive and looks like a girl. We have much handsome guys in india . They will earn from india nad then badmouth India. i once went to pakistan and the officials threw my Bible in front of me. that too in Lahore, their main country.

Pv pls pls post this comment

just lose a bit of weight and he will be good to go!!!!!!!!!

Please stop this nonsense, we don't need pakistani artists in bollywood. Pakistan would never accept indians into their film industry and i have seen them bad mouth our celebrities. Tell them to stay in their country and make movies. Indians so generously allow them to work in our films and music yet they don't do the same back.

------------
you are mistaken, Naseerudin Shah has started to work on a Pakistani film! and Indian films have huge market in Pakistan, people like bolly celebs and their movies!
