Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with mom Vrinda Rai at L'Oreal Paris Femina awards
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was today honored with The ICONIC Woman of Worth Award at the L'oreal Paris Femina Awards 2012 which took place at the ITC Grand Central, Parel. She was presented this award by Nathalie Gerschtein, Director, L'oreal Paris In a rare moment Aishwaraya Rai Bachan honored her mother on stage with a special She's worth it award, as her mother is the one person who has inspired her through her life and the one person Aishwarya has always aspired to be. Aishwarya further added, " She is the nucleus of my existence; who has gently moulded me, shaped me, picked me up when I've been down, has faith in me and taught me to be the very best version of me that i can be". Aishwarya was there to present the winner of the L'oreal Paris Femina 'Who's worth it award' which was given to Nicola Esteves who was nominated for the award by her husband Anand Esteves. Aishwarya looked resplendent in an Abu Jani- Sandeep Khosla ensemble which was from their new summer collection.

Excuse me what age a person starts a career is irrelevant to when they get married. Apparently Sridevi started at 4, so u want her to get married at 20??? And btw aishwarya started her modelling career much earlier as if she did not find any fame or money in that!!! and she did date salman and vivek in case u forgotten and she did string poor vivek along!!
As for karishma partying when her son was 3 months old, so what? every mom needs a break and time for herself. I dont think she is a bad mom coz of that. How silly. And when mads leaves for us is up to her. t is perfectly possible to keep shutlling between 2 countries till u wind up all ur commitments. Thats called being professional.

How do you expect her to have a family when she isn't married? Aishwarya entered movies very late, 24-25 years of age, she married after 8-9 years of entering, and like many couples, had kids after 4 years of marriage, which is normal. Maybe she was trying before as well, but it wasn't happening ; Abhishek also was shooting in foreign locations for different movies.
AISHWARYA , unlike other actress (Kareena, rani, Vidya) did not keep postponing her marriage because of career, when she found the right guy, she immediately married without having second thoughts to will she be accepted as a mainstream heroine post -marriage or not
On the contrary, Madhuri and Karishma entered movies very early, 15-16 years of age. Madhuri married very late as well 33-34 years of age, after being in the film industry for 18 years. Why did she take so long , 18 years in career and then marriage ? Secondarily, after marriage, why didn't she join her husband in the US immediately? She married in 1999, and went to US to live full time ONLY IN 2002. During that time, she was still fame hungry and(1999-2002), doing movies/tv serials, etc? Thousands of Indian brides marry US grooms every year, and they all go to the states immediately, or within 3-4 months of visa processing. Which lady will wait for 3 years like Madhuri unless she was fame hungry? And that too, Madhuri left because post 98-99, she wasn't getting lead roles in commercial movies, devdas she played the side role. Madhuri also had kids after 4 years of marriage like Ash, why didin't she have kids earlier? And yes, many expats DO COME BACK , but they dont lie like Madhuri who says she is coming back to India for her kids to learn Hindi/marathi, and then jumps on to endorse every soap, detergent, toothpaste the day she arrives.
And Karishma was actually seen every party circuit, event in summer-fall 2010 when her kid was barely 3-4 months , check out pics at old posts
Hair and makeup - lovely. Outfit - hideous! Her face is really pretty, but her choice of clothing doesn't do it for me at all.
i have a friend in jaipur ...he says he has met so many celebrities so far and i asked about has he ever seen aishwarya rai closely ...he said he saw her once , he said that aishwarya is very beautiful but she is not white or fair as much as she is seen on screen/photos but brown complexioned lady and he also said she has wrinkles specailly around eyes so she didnt allow him to take photo of hers when she is so brown and full of wrinkles only with light makeup

How is it that she does not have any wrinkles? My teacher is born 1972 but he also has no wrinkles(might be since hes is a vegan). Why is that? So many people in late 30's or ealry 40's have them. Is she a vegatarian or a vegan?

Women dont have wrinkles in 30s and certainly not men in their 40s either. but u do have crows feet ...some in their 20s...ash doesn't have any wrinkle esp around her eyes coz she uses botox otherwise its impossible not to have even tiny ones around ur eyes at her age.
@ Aishwarya always has had her priorities set, family comes first to her before career. She didn't take up many hollywood projects for this reason .She is not fame or money hungry like other celebs eg Karishma, who is busy parting in town when her baby is barely 3 months old, or like Madhuri, who rushes from the other corner of the world , when she realizes that she can earn more in India
WEll she waited until nearly 40 to have a family so her career did come first. Karisma parties 24/7 does she? hmmm and u would know that she doest look after her kids...Madhuri rushed to India after i dunno 8-10 yrs....many expats do and many dont so whats the problem???

Not a fan of Aishwarya but she is didn't use any sympthay stories like Freida Pinto did about being dark and all. Freida is already fading away in the US and she still is making up these stories of how bollywood prefers whitened skin despite there being dark actresses like Bipasha Basu and Vidya Balan getting lead roles. I cannot fathome why that girl is famoust at all. No looks and no talent. Aish is not that talented but she didn't diss indians and act like victem to impress americans like Freida does.

Give her a break. Indian women naturally gain a lot of weight post delivery, blame the genes. Frankly it shocks me to think this is the same petite, immaculate beauty who danced in Taal many years back and makes the thought of pregnancy for me truly a nightmare. For someone who has been celebrated and revered for perfect looks for more than a decade internationally, I am surprised she did not go missing from the public sphere untiil she lost all the weight. In fact it is a testament of her confidence, making her even more awe-inspiring. She's undoubtedly the most successful and popular face of Indian cinema and will always remain so. I am not an Aish fan and think there are many more talented actresses out there. However NONE can achieve her international fame and glory. Now moving on to her wardrobe choice, I like the bright colours but the whole ensemble is very unflattering, messy, shapeless and looks like a new generation coloured purdah. Neck up, still beautiful!

If he had told her from the beginning only that it is going to be 6 -7 months, she wouldn't have signed the movie in the first place. And would you just go back and look at her pics in August : The award function in Delhi , she looked ravishing beautiful and slim there.
