Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with mom Vrinda Rai at L'Oreal Paris Femina awards
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was today honored with The ICONIC Woman of Worth Award at the L'oreal Paris Femina Awards 2012 which took place at the ITC Grand Central, Parel. She was presented this award by Nathalie Gerschtein, Director, L'oreal Paris In a rare moment Aishwaraya Rai Bachan honored her mother on stage with a special She's worth it award, as her mother is the one person who has inspired her through her life and the one person Aishwarya has always aspired to be. Aishwarya further added, " She is the nucleus of my existence; who has gently moulded me, shaped me, picked me up when I've been down, has faith in me and taught me to be the very best version of me that i can be". Aishwarya was there to present the winner of the L'oreal Paris Femina 'Who's worth it award' which was given to Nicola Esteves who was nominated for the award by her husband Anand Esteves. Aishwarya looked resplendent in an Abu Jani- Sandeep Khosla ensemble which was from their new summer collection.

THAT face, those eyes, that sweetness and beauty of appearance. Ash is gonna be back with a bang soon. In the meantime I am glad she has not let an iota of the terribly nasty things people are saying about her weight, get to her (as usual she does her own thing, and this makes the haters madder lol!). When she is right and ready, with the best film under her tow, she will slim down as the role requires or not and grace the screen again. Just enjoy your time with your daughter Ash...we all know that when you do come back with a movie, you'll blow the competition out of the water.

At the people saying other actresses are losing weight faster! Well yeah it is called "plastic surgery" "lipo "! At least Ash is natural!

I bet you anything she is pregnant. No body put on a weight on their face after pregnancy. I think this is a pregnancy glow on her face. I think, we should back out and leave the woman alone, whether the weight is after pregnancy or she is into it, we should give her space.
I would say, she is not the most beautiful woman anymore. Ten years ago, during the time she was dating Vivek, she did look very beautiful. she was slim, had a beautiful porcelain face and dressed very nicely

Same goes for Rani and Priyanka, they look beautiful and heroine material with the help of a stylist (nice hair , make up and clothing). They are all just average Ranis, Sheelas and sujatas. its the clothes and make up , hair style, camera tricking, photoshop that makes them all elegant. Now they all go for botox, plastic surgeries, lip fillers and lipo.(priyanka is a lypo queen). and the new pictures of Rani are full of botox.
I realized this about ten years ago, when Priyanka, Rani came for a concert in Orlando, Fl and had a picture taken with our friends. I was shock to see how plain and unattractive both of them were.
And now its Ash, Actually they look worse than the average Indian girls i have seen.
Most Indian women in this age group look far better than these heroines.

Aishwarya may be chubby than we are use to seeing her but she remains the most beautiful. Look at that face. No smile like hers
why is the kurta sooo long?? it almost looks liek a night suit.. as you can put on weight ,its okay .. all mothers do, but when did you lose your sense of dressing dear? is jaya making you wear all this?

Her baby is over 4mths old! If she is breastfeeding, THAT MAKES YOU LOSE WEIGHT FASTER SINCE IT MAKES YOUR BODY BURN MORE CALORIES TO MAKE MILK. And those Indian outfits she wears are always loose and forgiving so if she STILL can look so fat and big with that, I shudder to think how she would look in a tighter western dress or even jeans. It's really strange how much she has ballooned, because I have had a kid and have had many friends and sisters do so soo, and no one by their 5th month was so ballooned. And we did not have personal trainers, loads of $$$ for cooks making us healthy food or never even hit the gym but we just ate sensibly. So I am thinking everyone needs to cut her a bit of slack cause in her case it could be postpartum hormones and even medication she is taking and remember she had her first kid at a late age so maybe it reallllly slowed her metabolism down. All I can say is Madhur Bhandarkar must be feeling so validated in his decision not to wait for her for Heroine. Of course, everything I just said is moot if her size now is because she is pregnant again - which is not unlikely given her age I am sure she would like to get down with childbearing before 40, in which case if she is in fact pregnant, CONGRATULATIONS! some people have a hard time loosing all those weight. also she might have taken taken harmonal help to get pregnant, so she has put in more weight i guess?
What happened to her dress sense after pregnancy...my mom is chubby and fat too but you get such classy and nice indian and western outfits for big sized women these days! they have so much money but such a bad dress sense! WOW
