Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with mom Vrinda Rai at L'Oreal Paris Femina awards
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was today honored with The ICONIC Woman of Worth Award at the L'oreal Paris Femina Awards 2012 which took place at the ITC Grand Central, Parel. She was presented this award by Nathalie Gerschtein, Director, L'oreal Paris In a rare moment Aishwaraya Rai Bachan honored her mother on stage with a special She's worth it award, as her mother is the one person who has inspired her through her life and the one person Aishwarya has always aspired to be. Aishwarya further added, " She is the nucleus of my existence; who has gently moulded me, shaped me, picked me up when I've been down, has faith in me and taught me to be the very best version of me that i can be". Aishwarya was there to present the winner of the L'oreal Paris Femina 'Who's worth it award' which was given to Nicola Esteves who was nominated for the award by her husband Anand Esteves. Aishwarya looked resplendent in an Abu Jani- Sandeep Khosla ensemble which was from their new summer collection.

OMG! everybody is hiring a stylist and the person who needs it the most is not! its not that she is fat, she doesn't know how to dress properly. such a horrifying outfit to wear when u have lots of weight to loose! she didn't dress well to begin with but at least she wasn't fat back then, its pretty bad now.
and puhleez, do not say that she loves her kid too much to loose the weight. love is not measured in the pounds u pack on. i'm sure she loves her child a lot, as does a mom who loses her weight quickly after a delivery.
I think she is pregnant again, look at her feet...so swollen. At her age, she cannot afford to put a gap between her kids.

I can't believe the comments of people who say she is slimming down and lost the fat???? Are we even looking at the same pics??? If this is slimmed down version of her, then what was she like before? I think she is still huge. Look at her hips and mid-section. Indian outfits, churidar types are loose and very forgiving on weighty women (I know, cause so many Indian aunties in the US wear them to conceal their figures), and even with a forgiving garment she still looks massive. Her face also looks bloated and has she injected her lips with something or did pregnancy change that too?

Her baby is over 4mths old! If she is breastfeeding, THAT MAKES YOU LOSE WEIGHT FASTER SINCE IT MAKES YOUR BODY BURN MORE CALORIES TO MAKE MILK. And those Indian outfits she wears are always loose and forgiving so if she STILL can look so fat and big with that, I shudder to think how she would look in a tighter western dress or even jeans. It's really strange how much she has ballooned, because I have had a kid and have had many friends and sisters do so soo, and no one by their 5th month was so ballooned. And we did not have personal trainers, loads of $$$ for cooks making us healthy food or never even hit the gym but we just ate sensibly. So I am thinking everyone needs to cut her a bit of slack cause in her case it could be postpartum hormones and even medication she is taking and remember she had her first kid at a late age so maybe it reallllly slowed her metabolism down. All I can say is Madhur Bhandarkar must be feeling so validated in his decision not to wait for her for Heroine. Of course, everything I just said is moot if her size now is because she is pregnant again - which is not unlikely given her age I am sure she would like to get down with childbearing before 40, in which case if she is in fact pregnant, CONGRATULATIONS! man shes huge.. pregnancy adds weight but this is massive.. ive seen women in my family and friends after pregnancy and no one gained this much weight..

OMG!!! What was she thinking when she choose that hideous tent like kameeze to wear to a loreal awards event!! shock!!!!!!!! I get she put on alot of weight, but even for plus size women there is soo many nice outfits available.

Should have just opted for a saree.
