Daily Mail UK reports on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's weight gain
After Shobhaa De's recent blog on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's weight gain, Daily Mail has also picked up on the story with their article titled "How India's most beautiful woman has been accused of betraying her country for failing to lose baby weight". Other international news sites have also reported on the story with the Daily Mail article attracting more than 450 comments on last view. It appears that Aishwary's post-baby figure has sparked an international debate.

All this just shows her PR agents know how to play any situation in her favour...It has nothing to do with her stardom or fame.

Aishwarya Rai and and all actresses are fallen women. Would ever let your wife or daughter wear a bikini in public. Or sleep with gangsters? Bollywood is funded by smugglers, the underworld. Bollywood actress are picked up from their muses. Even top models cant' be top without following this path. All actress including Ash have given porn photos, accepted casting couches. Everyone knows Mumbai's film industry is a bad arena.

I am totally sympathetic towards Aishwaryas weight gain ....but what I dont like is the manipulation of the PR and the Bacchan family . They are well aware that the West will lambast the weight gain issue so they preempted that and blamed the Indians and Indian Media . Once the West carries the story of how poor Aish is being criticised about post natal weight gain they themselves can not write anything anti her .Well planned and well executed.
Apart from this I am of the opinion to each his own. Also we have to remember that Aish is not in her twenties,she is well into her late thirties and sometimes its not easy to get rid of the fat that quickly. And some times women tend to suffer from post natal depression ......when again one takes time to loose the weight
But what worries me most is that Aish does not look happy and that to me is a more serious issue than the weight gain
Please even Adriana Lima said that she doesn't like to excercise or diet either, why put down Aishwarya Rai for it?
Way prettier then Freida Pinto who looks like a begger at Cannes.
She is a stunning lady. Just like Angelina Jolie, Kate Winslet ,Kate Beckensile,etc.

i am not a fan of aishwarya, but i think she is very beautiful ! earlier her fat pics seemed funny to me, but now i think media all over the world is being rude to her by stretching this silly topic of her post pregnancy weight ! being a woman, i think we should all just give her time, and let her enjoy her moment of motherhood :) (just my thoughts) :)
She only needs the sympathy from the west and she dont want to lose any of hers endorsements and may be she is thinking due to this PR works she will get new endorsements.

MakeupCritic, I agree, DM is a tabloid and it often exaggerates its news. But in this case, only the headline is idiotically sensationalized. DM interpreted in a tabloid/sensationalistic/ manner (political even) one Indian netizen’s comment on Aish: “She has a duty to stay fit”- comment cited by the Indian media -as a betrayal to her country. But the article in fact is fairly accurate, and depicts the state of things in Indian media approximately 2 weeks ago.

I must agree with barbie girl and Kitty on all points. I read articles in other languages than English, and the majority of people are saying to cut Aish some slack, or that she's still pretty with all the weight gain, aplauding her for not yielding to current skinny fads.
And PV should perhaps reconsider its anonymous posting policy as it unwittingly encourages trolling- I think it's among the fewest websites that allows this, if not the only one I know of. Even youtube has email account comments, and most sites/forums/blogs have either FB, google or email based posting policies. Just a suggestion! :]

Yep that's the thing Barbie girl... the anon thing is like a breeding ground for hate, where a few people can just spread hatred like a virus, populating 100's of comments on one topic. Kind of like a factory farm where hate incubates like swine flu or mad cow's disease! It's good to see some perspective from sites that require registration and where trolling is not allowed... even on a site called Celebitchy most users are disgusted by all of the nastiness shown towards Aishwarya!
I personally think she has some sort of medical condition and if that's the case she should be left alone. What really annoys people is that she unlike others has the audacity to use the Most Beautiful title, but still thinks she's above everyone else who has to take care of themselves.
Other celebrities work their butts off literally because they are in very fortunate positions making extreme amounts of money that only a few people in the world can dream of.
This woman from the very beginning complained she didn't like to exercise of diet. Cry me a river. The arrogance of saying I don't want to do anything but still give me lots of money, the others only have to suffer because after all I'm so above them. That's the attitude that really sucks, especially when you're really not that attractive or talented to start off with. She should be thanking her lucky stars, but instead there's this looking down her nose at others attitude.
You'd have to be a chump to put up with that kind of behavior, but there seems to be no shortage of them luckily for her.
