Guzaarish's Spanish, German and Korean Posters
After being well received at international festivals and in Korea, Guzaarish is now gearing up for a release in its Spanish and German versions. Releasing this February 8th, it becomes the first ever Indian film to release in Latin America. Says Amrita Pandey - Senior Vice President, International Distribution and Syndication, UTV Motion Pictures - "Guzaarish continues to be a film widely picked up by non-traditional international markets also besides the traditional ones. The film has been loved by audiences across the world and we are glad newer markets are showing keen interest in the film. Because of its cinematic value, even after a year of its release the response from new audiences is heartening. We are also talking to a leading European distributor to have Guzaarish released in France. This will be a first-time ever Bollywood acquisition from France." She further adds, "Latin America as a new market is a focus for us. The Indian population is limited in Peru, which makes it even more significant an achievement to have managed a release for the film there. We're looking forward to the Guzaarish release in Peru." I recently re-watched this movie, and liked it more than the first time around, I appreciated it better. Everything is exquisite and beautiful, and Aish and Hrithik are amazing onscreen together. I wished a more optimistical ending toward a happy life, but in a way, it was a happy ending after all...

Amazing!!! I always knew Aishwarya had a lot of fans in Perú! I just visited Lima - Perú last month but didn't have the chance to meet the city, it was just a conexion to another country! Yes, I am a Latina and LOVE Aishwarya too!

love this movie. Aishwarya has played the role of Sofia with such dignity. Incredibly powerful piece of cinema.

Now everyone from the high-society ladies, to the teenaged college-going girls are sporting large flowers or a feather cluster in their hair; making them the cynosure of all eyes at fashion events and social dos.

I know Aish set some amazing trends in bollywood like skin bleach, contact lense, plastic surgery, egg donor, ivf but wearing a rose on hair is a centuries old tradition and women of all cultures are doing it sine day one.
No it was NOT a flop. According to Komal Nahta, the Bollywood Box office analyst, it is an average grosser. And that too because its budget was so high. It made more than superhits like Paa and NOKJ but because of the heavy budget its average.
I love this film, Aish, Hrithik and SJB.

This movie is a work of art. And you will always find people who appreciate art. I can't believe all you Indians are are so carried away by superficial things like box office. Yes box office is important but that's not all.

Its not a copy of any spanish movie. Why will they release in Spanish again? It doesnt even make sense! Guzaarish's screenplay is original.
I know so many people who watched it on TV and said, arre why didn't we watch it in theatres? It's sad but SLB still doesn't know how to market a film. He produces the movie for 55 crore and promotes it as an art film. Learn how aggressively SRK marketed and promoted a crap film like RA.1. SLB should know that this is film business. So you have to know as much about films as you should about business. Anyhow I loved Guzaarish. I'm glad UTV is proud of the film and releasing it in different languages. Hope at least this way it recovers the money.
So happy the movie is doing so well, proving tht a Good movie will always be acknowledged.. The trailer is FANTASTIC!I agree ,Wish Guzaarish was more well promoted in india...but anyways the movie had already recovered its costs when one includes the satellite and music rights... ..The movie is an absolute feast for the senses with a beautiful soul and some unforgettable performances from Ash n Hrithik.Congrats Ash-Slb-Hrithik.U rock!

Iambhavdeep is right...I didnt watch guzaarish even though i love aishwarya...the first trailer is much more intereting and happier than a fly buzzing around and aishwarya smoking in a car...the emotions in hritiks and aishwaryas face,,,,,,,much better!
Aishwarya looks stunning in the 1st still. I love her performance in the film. She is truly a versatile actress. This film was good too... I just wish we had seen Hrithik Aish as a couple.
