Touching - Aishwarya speaks to a quadriplegic man on KBC
Today's episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati featured a very inspiring contestant Yusuf Mallu who is wheelchair bound. Yusuf loves the film Guzaarish and to his pleasant surprise Amitabh Bachchan makes him speak to none other than Aishwarya Rai Bachchan herself! P.S. Their costumes change in the middle because when they try to call Aishwarya, she doesn't pick up the call, so they call her in the next episode! Nevertheless, it was heartwarming to watch this clip.

Course Big B wants publicity. For KBC, for everything he is associated with. He is a businessman and knows how to maneouver all that. The saddest thing is his nepotism was showcased on national televison :(
AIsh didn't even find out how the poor man on wheel cahir is doing. She never struck a conversation with him, which a normal human being will do. She was more than in haste to hang up. I don't blame her, its her Pa who put her in a spot.
Why are people all praises ofr Aish? If it was any other celebrity on phone they would have spoken more nicely to the man on wheel chair. But they never got a chance because it was Bachchan practising nepotism at his best. Shame on Amithabh.
Bachchan at best promoting nepotism. Hez already failed for his son, so now with bahurani :)

Oh my,it was indeed touching. God bless him. Salute his spirit and the spirit of others like him. Their courage is beyond words. This isn't for the fainthearted. So wish he would get cured. There's so much suffering in the world and there are not too many answers as to why such things happen. A sincere prayer--- May the Almighty keep giving him and his family courage, hope, happiness... Thanks for posting this vid. Sweet of Ash to speak so well xx.

This just shw how much negativity is surrounded around ASh & BAchchan PAriwar.
If it were any toehr actor or actress then there would be comments of praises..but as it is Ash it has to be something deep...some deep truth..oh yeah her PR machine. LOL
The man asked to talk to ASh and Big B called her. She picked the call and talked to the person...WHAT IS SO BAD IN THAT????
Agar she had not talked tthat man then there would have been comments of how bad Ash is that seh couldn't talk to the man...
So there is no win - win situation for this family. And that shows how much people get affected but them.
For me I think is is so great that ASh respect her father in law enough to talk to the contestants...

To the one who said why didn't he speak about Hrithik, I think that was b'coz he is KBC and he got a chance to speak to Amitab and he chose to mention that he tried to reach the entire cast/director of Guzaarish. Since AB has way to get him to speak to Aishwarya, he facilitated that.
I think this is a beautiful moment and should be appreciated. Some of the posters here are so cynical, can't see anything good in any good deed.
THEY KNEW THAT RANBIR WOULD COME AND EVERYONE WOULD WATCH THIS SHOW AND IF THIS PERSON FELT THE CHARACTER HRITHIK WHY DIDNT HE CALL HRITHIK. ITS ALL AMITHABH'S PLAN FOR PUBLICITY FOR HIS SHOW!!!
sujata did you notice he kept on saying to Ash to convey he message to guzarish team( why was he not mentioning hritik's name with whom he resembles more? I guess he was ordered to speak only abt Ash in the show.... so irony
Also yusuf said he tried contacting ash and sanjay earlier but they never responded...just becos it is now telecasting ash actually spoke..scuh a double standard woman
Her tone changes so much when she speaks to 'Pa.' She sounded so innocent and unassuming, like a young teenager, I couldn't recognize her. Such a contrast from the arrogance with which she speaks in interviews, and even in conversation with her husband. Shrewd lady, knows how to keep 'Pa' in her pocket.

I hope that man always has the widest and brightest smile in his life. After such tragedy all you can wish for is true happiness and hope all his simplest, littlest, and most desired wishes come true!
But I think it's so nice of her to say that--it was so heartfelt and genuine. I loved it when she said God Bless you and he gave her and her baby good wishes and blessings. So beautiful!
loved the episode one of my favorites and after watching the episode it made me realize that the things we cry about in everyday life is nothing compare to this guy's problems but still he manages to put a smile on his face. as for the movie it was heart touching and a gud movie in my opnion with a gud message as well.
That man is pretty inspirational. I am glad he liked Guzaarish so much but I hope he doesnt feel the desperation that Hrithik's character did.
I think this was an impromptu thingy mainly because they didnt manage to reach her on the first try. They were able to get her on the second day. If it was a PR excercise I am sure they would try to make her look like a perfect bahu who picks up sasurji's phone right away LOL
And every article here is someone's PR working really hard and IMO this is much better than the usual stuff with their catty remarks and self praises and glorification.
That was so beautiful and touching. I cannot believe I have tears in my eyes. I wish Yusuf a speedy recovery, or if it is impossible at least hope he gets to live a peaceful life. GOD IS CRUEL.
And so sweet of Aishwarya again to talk with so much humility. And so cute seeing her giggle and lol "absolute pleasure" are her favourite words. Haha how cute!!!
that`s so lovely....hats off to slb for making n absolute masterpiece called guzaarish....it deserved all the tremendous acclaim it got....n for me it was the best movie made last year...it was such a delight to watch Aishwarya speak to him..every1 loves u aishwarya!!
