Action Replayy Public Response - 97% Positive Reactions!
The film had a slower start compared to Golmaal 3, but is picking up now thanks to the good word of mouth publicity by the people. Below are the videos of public response to three different sections of the media and its got 97% positive response! Aishwarya and Akshay are at the receiving end of many compliments! People find it mindless but entertaining and fun. Ideal cute family-entertainer. Get, set, retro! Time to rewind your life!

I luv Akshay & Ashwarya. I was waiting for their movie after Khakee. Finaly Action Replay breaks my await. I luv both of them. And Akshay looks hot with Prianka & Romantic with Ashwarya. But when i knew about the flop of Action Replay, i got shock. It really makes me dissssssssssapppppppppoint. And now Ash's another movie Guzarish is also going to be flop. which is depressble. sometimes i dont undrstnd the people mind. Actually they dont know which one is good or bad. they make some bogus film big hit like katrina's rajniti, ajab prem ki gajab kahani........all r bullllllllllshitttttttt. I dont like katrina. but now-a-days maximum people like her, i dnt know why? She doesn't know how to act, how to dance, even how to speak in hindi. Always playing an unimportant boring role is her habit. I think she should think that it is humiliating 4 her. I hate Akshay & Katrina jodi. coz i love Akshay and i dnt want to c Akshay with her. Above all of this, I hope Tees Maar Khan will be a blockbuster hit just for Akshay not bcoz of that bogus women Katrinaaaaaaaaaaa (Feelingsless)

Not much dhamaka this Diwali

A media person was keen to know if the Diwali weekend had grown significant since the past few years. I corrected her by pointing out that the festive weekend had always witnessed prime releases since decades, but with the media getting more and more aggressive and comparing films released during the Diwali weekend, the particular weekend has, all of a sudden, come under the spotlight.
The Diwali weekend was always eyed by film-makers and Naaz traders [all distribution and exhibition offices were stationed at Naaz theatre premises at Lamington Road, Mumbai]. From Rajshri to Yash Raj, from Dharma to Ashtavinayak, film-makers choose to release their films during the festival of lights because people are in a celebratory mood and splurge on everything from movies to clothes to crackers to food. It goes without saying that the business of movies in particular shows a big jump during Diwali.
Let's look at the Diwali releases this year: The numbers of G-3 in particular have been tremendous. If one compares it with G-2, which raked in approx. Rs. 29 cr. in its 5-day opening weekend, G-3 has outclassed the second installment by a good margin. This is all the more significant because Friday was Laxmi pooja and the occupancy at cineplexes across all centres fell drastically from noon till late evening. The good thing is that G-3 is faring very well on weekdays and the Week 1 numbers will be very impressive. It's a success story, for sure.
ACTION REPLAYY sent shock waves on Friday, its opening numbers were terrible. What rubbed salt to the wound was the fact that the industry people wrote it off on Day 1 itself. The negative talk coupled with the slow start at the ticket window spelt doom for the Akshay-Ash starrer, but the film did an about-turn on Saturday and Sunday, which saved the film from a complete collapse. Yet, at the same time, the weekend numbers aren't in sync with Akshay Kumar's star status. The question is, had ACTION REPLAYY opened in a non-Diwali week, what would its fate be? Did the Diwali weekend come to the rescue of ACTION REPLAYY?
ACTION REPLAYY fell sharply on weekdays and as things stand today, it will entail losses to its investors.
today i watched this muV n i was quite surprised to c nobody..the hall was empty ;-P the muV is entertaining though..here in kathmandu golmaal 3 is a huge success..its houseful!

it is not a no brainer comedy like golmaal or welcome but it is a very good movie,vipul has done a very good job,and ash can act

i saw d movie & they both really rocked!!
robot was super hit, but raavan was a disaster and action replay is going to get a flop status. but i have to say both aish and akki did pretty good job, it's more the story and how it's made that's the problem. guys, stop picking at aish like vultures. kareena didn't have hits either till jab we met and golmaal 3 was a hit bc AR sucked.

Q. Action Replay had a superstar like Akshay Kumar, top heroine Aishwarya Rai and hit music so why such bad opening?
A. Aishwarya Rai is NOT a plus today as she is not as popular amongst the youth as other younger heroines. The main reason for dull start is that Akshay Kumar is a mass superstar similar to Salman Khan and has to be presented in a certain way to get his fans in. Akshay Kumar fans were not interested in Action Replayy but will turn up in millions to see more typical Akshay in Tees Maar Khan, Thank You and Housefull 2. Also if a mass superstar is not in his image in a film you don't come against another big film which is audience friendly, its best to have a solo release to give your film a chance.

if u are a ash fan dont miss the movie ,Ash acts great,Songs are a visual treat ,ash akki pair is really cute

Monday Update: Action Replay Flops Badly
Action Replayy has flopped with very bad collections on Monday. If we compare with Friday the drop is not huge but Friday business was too low. The way collections are going on Monday the film may do just about 2 crore nett on Monday.
It has been seen over the last 18 months that Akshay Kumar films like Kambakkht Ishq, Blue, De Dana Dan and Khatta Meetha all dropped from Monday as content was not up to the mark but still all put up reasonable lifetime numbers due to the star power of Akshay Kumar as the openings were strong.
This time the opening was not there and the content also failed which will mean the film may do only 15-16 crore lifetime distributor share. The jump on Saturday was all due to the Diwali holiday as collections fell Sunday and then fell even more on Monday. A more audience friendly Akshay Kumar in the film would have resulted in a better opening and even then the film may have failed later due to content but it would have made added 50% to the final distributor share.
Action Replayy has an open week ahead but it make little difference as collections are just too low now.
