The pictures are the photographer's. He has the rights, obviously. Dabboo requested her, asked for her permission and it was sweet of her to oblige as he says. She just didn't want those pictures to be used to promote the film. She didn't want to be associated with the film at all. Otherwise she is fine with it. How hard is it to fathom that?

Oh okay...so its okay for HER to use her Heroine pictures for Dabboo's calendar (aka her own publicity) whereas its not okay for Madhur to use the same pics for the film's publicity...hmm...seriously what the heck was she thinking??? All I can say is either she's too stupid to realize her faux pas or she has an axe to grind which is why she is okay with her Heroine pics being splashed everywhere all over again.

cant believe this same woman who issued a legal notice as to not use her Heroine shoot pictures went all the way herself to dress exactly like her heroine shoot for daboo's calender??...oh my god even her earrings and bangles are same too...Now Madhur should send a legal notice to Ash for using the Heroine shoot pictures when she is no longer a part of the movie...I am sure this lady has some big thing planned on the day of the release of the Heroine movie

Exactly my thoughts....she takes offense to Madhur using her pictures for the film's publicity but has no problem with giving those exact same pictures to Dabboo...is she stupid or what????? I just dont get it.

Just wish that ass had stuck to the initial 45 day schedule he had announced in Cannes. If he did, she would have successfully completed the film. What a disorganized director. Why start shooting a film if you're still unprepared?

umm, no. How is that photo related to the film anymore? It is being filmed with another actress now. That photo rights go to the photographer. And since Ash had sent a legal notice he had to take her permission.
Well YOU tell me, she worked hard on the film for 10 days why should she let it go waste? She didn't even get paid for it!!

Sorry but the pictures are clicked by the photographers but he did that for the movie...I am no expert on who claims the rights (the photographer or the movie director or producer) but my take on this is that she needs to take a stand and stick by it.
Why give Dabboo to use the pictures (even if its all legally okay), when she claimed she didn't want to be associated with the movie in anyway and even served Madhur a notice about it. How can she say she doesn't want to be associated with the film in anyway and still ask Dabboo to use the same photos?
