Aishwarya Rai is Santoshi’s first and last choice
Unlike Madhur Bhandakar who promptly dropped Aishwarya Rai from Heroine after learning of her pregnancy, director Raj Kumar Santoshi is in no mood to scout for another actress. Rather, Santoshi prefers to postpone his film Ladies And Gentlemen which was to have Aishwarya Rai in the female lead opposite Abhishek Bachchan. Ash’s pregnancy has thrown a spanner in the works as the actress can’t shoot as long as she has a bun in the oven. Santoshi, who is quite fond of the Bachchans, understands Ash’s position but is not in favour of replacing her with another actress. Rather, he is adamant on having Aishwarya in the film. So he would wait till Ash is fit to start working in films again. However, a big question mark still looms on whether Aishwarya Rai will return to film shoots soon after the delivery because she will be needed to take care of the newborn baby. Boring and bland translates to gawjuss on this site. I like her hair here though. I do agree she has a lizard/snake thing going on . It's the bulging eyes and flat lips with the small hole in the middle that looks like a tongue is going to dart out at you.

Santoshi has worked with Aishwarya once in the superhit film Khakee (2004). He knows her worth so he doesn't mind waiting for her. No wonder all the directors Ash worked with want to work with her again and again and again!
Santoshi doesn't have to worry about Ash being availabe or not post. I am sure she will do anything for money and fame. She wouldn't think twice to dump her child and rush back to make a film for Santoshi.
May be Santos.hi think she is so desperate at this time (can't take the rejection), she will do anything.

If anyone is waiting for her to make movies, that is because the director or producer hopes that he will get a chance to sleep with Ash. .. as did other producers before the baby.

Why don't she concentrate on her pregnancy then signing up films.
She hasn't made enough money or power hungry or both.
I am sure she is more worried about signing up movies post child birth then taking care of her baby now and post delivery.

Wait, so if she was going to do this film after Heroine, that means she really didn't know about her pregnancy! Happens, a friend of mine got to know it in her 5th month.
There is a show called "I didn't know I was pregnant" which you can watch it on YouTube where women find about her pregnancy really late, even in the third trimester. Interesting episodes of around 5 minutes each. Watch it!

I am amazed how everyone is constantly trying to pull a fool at the public. PR machine is working over time and not counter writing about how one director wants Aish (after the negative publicity of how madhur has replaced her). I wonder if actors themselves get these news out? I would not like to believe that do it, coz if Aish is preggors, she better concentrate on the baby and not how to get the right Word out to the public...This all mst be soo artificial and stressful for them ...
Anyways Aish looks so beautiful in this picture but whats with those monkey like lips? why does she paint her lipstick so upp close to the nose.. sometimes it may look nice but for eg in this picture it spoils it... Prefer her with her normal lips.. she is so blessed to ve a beautiful face? then why tamper with it?
