Ash is “extremely keen” to have another baby soon - Rajeev Masand
This week's Open Magazine column by Rajeev Masand talks about how Aishwarya is a hands-on mom and how she is “extremely keen” to have another baby soon. He also confirms the news that Ash will be at Cannes this year . Woohoo! Loving Motherhood A close friend of the Bachchans reveals that Aishwarya has taken to motherhood effortlessly. The actress is reportedly a hands-on mum who does everything, from changing her baby’s diapers and bathing the little one to putting her to bed without any help from the domestic. An 80-year-old Mangalorean woman has been appointed to massage both mother and daughter every morning, but Ash apparently attends to everything else herself. The actress’ mother, Vrinda, spends time at the Bachchan home in Juhu during the day, pottering around her daughter as she goes about her routine; and mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan often jokes that Vrinda and Aishwarya are constantly chatting in Tulu around her. Our source also reveals that Ash is “extremely keen” to have another baby soon. Meanwhile, even as tabloids continue to obsess about how much weight Aishwarya needs to lose before she can return to the movies, the former Miss World herself isn’t letting that come in the way of doing exactly what she wants. Ash is expected to be at the Cannes Film Festival in May as brand ambassador for L’Oreal—it’ll be her 11th consecutive appearance at the festival since she first visited in 2002 with Devdas. But before that, she’s also scheduled to take a holiday to Dubai with Abhishek and the baby.

Eager or what! First they act in movies non-stop it's all about career. Finally get married still obsessed with career. Eventually have one baby, and hooked and want more! Now no mention of returning to films. Novelty has worn off then. Wouldn't be suprised after this article Big B takes to Twitter to announce second pregnancy.

Girlssssssss, it's too hard for many women to loose that weight so soon!!! Aishwarya is not doing any movie, just taking care of her baby! And her weight doesn't means she's pregnant again LOL! Aishwarya is not that stupid as U GUYS to have a baby so soon when she's still not 'closed' again, u know what I mean? U have to wait 1 year to have another baby, that's healthy!! She says she wants to have another baby soon but I'm sure it won't be in 1 month lol!
If she's preggers again,it isn't a such a good news for cinegoers .But she can do whatever she wants,its her life afterall n no one else has any rights on it..I have so much respect for her.Unlike many women she doesn't choose to rush back to films immediately in spite of still being so much popular n talked about, and she's rejecting the many films she's getting offered.She's very content n happy with her motherhood n her life now.Though if she's preg. again,i'll miss the most beautiful woman in the world lots n lots for more time on screen now.But we'll always wish for her well being.But lets not jump the gun,I think it'll be clear by the mid of the year depending on the kind of body she has then.N YES CAN'T WAIT FOR CANNES!!

"TO MASSAGE HER DAUGHTER TOO"?? Oh well anyways, I'm so happy for Aish, she's been a GREAT mom. But why thay make a such hype about all these things that EVERY mom does and should do? Why Aishwarya should be en exception? Even being a famous I know Aish is the one who handles everything on first place!
And of courseee she will have another baby soon, cuz she's 38 years old, she can't wait anymore longer! lol Besides they planned to have a couple, so yes, we won't see Aish in movies soon! :( But I hope she will dress VERY WELL and not like a grandmom with the same hairstyle at Cannes!! Waiting to see her there.

You are a sick sick person. That is all. To say the woman was not pregnant the first time despite her looking very well like a pregnant lady......is soo loww on your part. I'm neutral with Aishwarya. Don't hate or love her. But to say that about a person leads me to believe you haven't been brought up well. I personally know many women who can sit cross legged whilst being pregnant, (I was one of them) just because you weren't able to do so, don't be such a jealous cow.
i find it laughable that as soon as something about the Bachchans (but in particular Ash) is printed in the media, there will be what is basically a rebuttal/explanation by an 'anonymous' source, 'close friend' or media personality explaining the situation.
In this case, the backlash post the Longines event in Dubai.
But if you go back through the archives, as soon as a negatively skewed article is printed on Pinkvilla, in 24hours there will be a different positive spin article referencing it.
so she took to motherhood effortlessly? well whoop di dooo. lol. these people wont stop trying to put her on a pedestal. not content with worlds most beautiful woman (now that she is obviusly not, and never was anyway), the have to make her out to be some kind of best mother in the world too. when she hogged the limeliht and waited until she was old to even begin popping out babies. and of course she can everything for her spawn herself - most moms do exactly that PLUS they also cook, clean, run errands like grocery shopping, hauling older kid to school and various classes etc AND still manage to be a supermom looking after the new baby. but gotta love how these celebes like to act like they are soooooo great for doing stuff on their own for their offsprin, when every other mom is doing it for her baby anyway. pinkvillla please publish

hmmmmmmmm....this leads me to believe Ash was NOT PREG first time as she was more slimmer, walked fast, sat crosss legged, sat hurridly in a car....Now that the surrogate gave a girl, ash wants to try for a her own child this time.
Only and Only ALL moms can vouch it is extremely difficult to sit cross leg even at 5th month, let alone in 9th month.
AND GUYS IT IS MEDICALLY NOT SUGGESTED TO HAVE BABY IMMEDIATELY. EVERY DOCTOR SUGGESTS TO HAVE A GAP OF 6 MONTHS BETWEEN DELIVERYING AND TRYING for 2nd one. MANY REASON- YOUR BODY (CERVIX THAT IS gets STITCHED IN CASE OF NORMAL DELIVERY NEEDS TO BE HEALED, YOUR HORMONES NEED TO BE BACK AND YOU HAVE TO lose weight BECAUSE NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU WEIGH YOU AGAIN HAVE TO GAIN ADDITIONALY 25 POUND IF YOU ARE PRE AGAIN. Looking at ash current pics it looks she defi needs to lose weight, I cant understand how come she is gaining weight post delivery>??

I'm sure she makes a wonderful mom but I don't know what the big deal is?!?!!! Most women including myself have to return to work after a baby. People like us who don't live where our parents came from unfortunately don't have a lot of domestic help. The hubby and I split the house work as well as the chores. We do all of the running around ourselves and manage to look decent enough without the help of pro make up artists
Soooo my point is that I'm sure she's great but it's no friggin big deal she is no superwoman infact she's quite lucky to have all the help around her.
Stop praising her for stuff millions of women do everyday around the world.

no doubt she is pregnant again.... if she's had difficulty getting pregnant it is advise to do it back to back.....it is very possible to become pregnant again soon after having a baby. Whatever I wish her best of luck!
well i just had a baby and dont mind having one soon in a year or two. At her age its better she has another baby soon. she doesnt need to work for a living so why not.
Great, so we're going to have a whale wearing tent-like dresses representing India at the world's most prestigious film festival. And her beauty's always been vastly overrated. Let's hope that some other Indian actresses are invited or go to represent India. Priyanka Chopra, who's far more beautiful, would be the perfect choice.

Wow Ash at Cannes again! That is AWESOME news! Awww it will be cute if Ash and Abhishek has another baby soon but I miss seeing her movies like the other person on here said. That would mean she won't return soon.
accept it people.. its an end of aish era she is focused on family and at 38- 39 years of age fully loaded wwith $$$$ , why the fk she should care of coming back to movies as aunt or mom? seriously by the time she is back with nice fig, she will be of 40 and lets accept it... its not Hollywood.

Hands on mother? The rest of the world does it with their legs??? Whats the big deal? Even Julia Roberts took care of her twins without any help. Can understand if Ms.Rai was challenged in any way & she took care of her kid on her own.
