Sadly, it's true - us women are our own worst enemies. We tend to be very mean to our own kind, which pushes us further to act, behave or say certain things in certain ways. I like Dutt's last answer.

THANK YOU BARKHA DUTT!!!!
About time.

I still think that Aish needs to get healthy for her own good but people are way too harsh on her.

Good answer Barkha Dutt, as we can see clearly on Pinkvilla a woman is expected (by other women!) to be ready to pose for magazine covers in a bikini immediately after giving birth! Or else it is their "downfall"... LOL Pathetic. Oh and Aishwarya ONLY known for her beauty, despite all her dazzling performances, her films don't count on her resume because you know, only unattractive women should be taken seriously as "real" actors. Yeah!

my godh some of u fools really would kiss her arse if she were infront of you, your worlds must really be limited that you think THAT is beautiful (crappp personality included), you all really need to get out more and stop worshiping this cow that it keeps her head inflated.

I know the well Educated one's knows what time is it. Keep going Aish, we will keep guiding u

OH MY ANGEL AND ADORABLE DARLING AISH. I LOVE U SO MUCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ISWEAR.

Aishwarya made her career off her beauty and used her looks to make it big in Bollywood. So Ms. Dutt should really think about the person she's defending. Without her looks, neither Aish nor any non-film-family people would ever get work in Bollywood. Ash is looking chubby and if she's not pregnant, people have every right to make comments about her appearance.

Some people have been overly harsh but why don't people complain when people get complimented just because they look good. It's alright to be shallow when you say someone's hot but bad when they're not - I don't think so. Either looks can be talked about or they can't.

Look I love aish. But she is no different than the other actresses, if she put on weight she should be talk about. I don't want her to loose weight right like be size 2, but she should start to loose it bit by bit by now. It been almost 6 months already!

Uh, is Rai a godddess or queen or something that she is above criticism. She used to happily lap up the "most beautiful woman in the world"
claptrap never once having the humility to refute such a ridiculous notion. she used to go on international shows and parade herself as MBWITW.
Her PR took one persons comment (if it really happened), and ran with it, and she CASHED IN ON IT everywhere she went.
Now, when she looks fat (yes, I said fat), has a double chin, no distinction between her neck and face, bloated cheeks and bloated face in general,
then we are supposed to be silent? I am sure MBWITW can handle "fattest most bloated celeb 5 months after childbirth"? I mean come on, many
non-entertainer women (like myself) lose a lot 5mths after childbirth, let alone a bloated rich entertainer who has nothing to do all day but be with her
offspring - no need to cook, clean, run errands for home, for kids etc, so no time to hit the gym. We do it without personal fitness trainers, nutritionists
designing meal plans for us etc but MBWITW can't lose. So sorry Bharka Dutt, she does not deserve to be put on a pedestal, she made money out
her looks alone (and some sleeping around, granted she is a good dancer but she is not an especially talented actor), so of course those looks
that is her mealticket will always be up for scrutiny.

WOMEN ARE THEIR OWN ENEMIES. THEY CAN'T JUST ACCEPT AISH IS BETTER OUT OF JEALOUSY

agree with makeupcritic!

ash has always been famous for her looks. if there is one thing she was known for,it was her beauty; now that her looks have changed...she will get the opposite in the forms of criticism. she basked in the adoration and acted superior when she was praised. so i think she needs to bear it when she gets criticized. and really, i don't see ash defending herself or even complaining about how she's being picked on. she still seems confident in her own skin which i can applaud

That's true! She's just had a baby! Give her a break :)

I agree that Aishwarya has come under some nasty criticism, which is uncalled for. However, people saying she looks unhealthy, chubby, dishevelled and messy , are just opinions and we all have them. Also, it is true, she DOES look messy recently. Obviously there's a fine line between opinions and pure evil. Calling her ugly, obese etc is just nasty.

See, this is what happens when someone is promoted and hyped up as the most beautiful woman in the world. The slightest change in appearance will garner a lot of comments. I always said that her beauty will be her downfall. And that downfall has started. Aishwarya IS her image. If that fades, people will forget about her. Sad, but true.

YOU GO BARKHA DUTT! SHE IS AN EDUCATED AND OUTSPOKEN WOMAN! LOVE HER!
AS FOR EVERYONE ELSE....CLEARLY YOUR COMMENTS AND NEGATIVITY SHOW EDUCATED YOU MAY OR MAY NOT BE. PICKING ON SOMEONE WHO GAINED WEIGHT AFTER HAVING A CHILD. EVERY WOMANS BODY IS DIFFERENT WE ARE NOT ROBOTS.

She is right! Who are we to talk about her weight, its ok if Ash is happy the way she is, people are so mean. also its just 5 months, so what if she wants to be healthy and enjoy her motherhood. why do people care.. I am actually glad that she is not one of those who hit the gym next day.. It is her choice what she wants to do. and yes she has the guts to come in front of people like this.. you go gal..

So true! Couldn't agree more!
