Because Im brown and Ive watched Hindi movies since I was little..duh? People who are not brown do not know her. She seldom comes in commercials or is on promotional boards.
What is this new term "International star"...used by aishwarya's fans again and again...if she is an international star than...what is Madonna,lady gaga,brad pit and others Hollywood stars...what'd you call them "universal stars" ????? first you labelled her as the most beautiful woman and now "international star" no one is a domestic ,local or international star...aishwarya has a mentally low class and uneducated fan base...who gets carried away by beauty. I like aishwarya but hate her fans,they get so exited and desperate for her and its embarrassing!her eyes are gorgeous!

I agree with Oxygen, I can too see great bonding which Oprah and aish shares, Oprah waited outside of Jalsa for hours just to see one glimpse of her she invited aish back to US in her mansion and she is going to make a show called "Aishwara Rai show" just dedicated to her.

You said it!And its a documentary about India and even Oprah's team(on the website) chose to write about Ash.She is the most beautiful woman and the biggest international star,India has produced. Simple!Oprah is a HUGE Star.She is a philanthropist and is known world over for her charities and her kindheartedness.
And I personally loved the li'l glimpse of Ash there.She looks so luminously ETHEREAL! And the great bonding that Oprah and Ash share is pretty evident! :-)
aish is the only reason Oprah came to India, documentary was just an excuse she just came to see her and beti B the most beautiful baby in the world, whenever Aish visit US Oprah waits in Airport Passionately holding flowers for her arrival than takes her immediately to her mansion to treat her as a queen.
Oprah even donated her blood to aish in case if aish needs it in future

What? You want them to hide the poverty? There is poverty even in America! That does not stop Angelina Jolie from looking glamorous or being rich. Please get over yourselves, Aishwarya is not resposible for what Oprah chooses to put on her show or what goes on in India, she is not the president or prime minister. People are rich and people are poor everywhere in the world.

Bahaha you've got to be kidding me! How delussional are you? What has she done to impact my life in any way? Has she contributed to any charities or anything? Nope. The only thing is her beauty which will obviously fade away (and has already started too). She doesn't come off as a personable person. I rather look up to someone who have used their popularity to better the world around them (Salman Khan with the Being HUman foundation, Vivek oberoi with all his community work).
