Apart from the fact that weither we would still be discussing Bollywood 10 years later on PinkVilla, who would we be discussing?
Even though im a huge Aishwarya Rai fan, i have to be realistic in knowing that she will be over 40 years old and most likely not a contender for the Queen anymore. However, she may surprise us as she is 35 and still hot property; a first in Bollywood. She will be in a place like Madhuri Dixit, if not better since she is a Bachchan.
Shah Rukh Khan will be over 50 and the audiences will want to see him in more mature roles and not the Om Shanti Om and Rab Ne Bana De Jodi kind of roles. He will becoome similiar to Amitabh Bachchan in terms of roles.
That Brings up the undeniable question; Which actor and actress from the current crop of Gen X Bollywood, would be ruling it in 2020. Who do you think will be Queen of Bollywood? Who Do you think will be the new King?
For Queen,I think the top choice would have to be Katrina Kaif as age is still by her. She is very hot property in Bollywood.
Priyanka Chopra also has age by her side, but the audience may get bored of her.
Kareena Kapoor is already around 28 years old, and i dont see her as the Queen 10 years down the road.
Genelia D'Souza may also be contender as i see her being differernt than her contemporaries.
I predict that Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma, Asin, may fade away. But i could very well be wrong. At the end of the day talent survives, but so does age and beauty.
Hrithik and Abhishek would be past their prime but still going somewhat strong.
For King,Shahid Kapoor seems to be the top contender. I would predict Ranbir Kapoor or Imraan Kha as hey have a young and fresh vibe to them. Also, Hurmaan Bewaja (although i highly doubt it).
