The Daily Mail wrote in high praise of Aishwarya - "She may have been criticised in her native India for not losing her baby weight fast enough, but Aishwarya Rai Bachchan looked nothing short of dazzling at the AmfAR Cinema Against Aids gala in Cannes last night. Baby weight or not, the Bollywood actress, 38, lived up to her title of 'the worlds most beautiful woman' in a gold embroidered sari and co-ordinating tailored jacket with Mandarin collar. well I m 26 years old n a blessed mom of 4 year old son..i didnt or dont have any lines..i was natural healthy ..i used too eat healthy..didnt diet in my life..besides all these i was never like n elephant..because i wasnt ill or under any medicine to gt pregnant or fr some another reason..my pregnancy was natural.

i have lines on my neck since i was a little kid, and i've never been fat or overweight. it's just a natural thing.
I will never comment on a "regular"girls's weight though I am a US 2. But the fact of the matter is many of these celebrities (not just singling Rai) peddle their looks and in most cases that is all they have. So when they lose it, why should they not be criticized? Again I am a equal opportunity criticizer- Hollywood or Bollywood- there are many of those types. When ever Ash was complemented as "TMBWITW" she just coyly smiled as if she truly believed she was. So she does not meet those standards anymore and she more than anyone else knows it. Forget her words- just look at her body language.
She was beautiful at one time- extremely beautiful but she is not anymore and that downhill ride started a long time before she got pregnant. Her garish make-up, over the top bollywood bling clothesall just make her look like a caricuture of fer former self. If you dont believe it, just look at one of her very old interviews from th 90's. Yes she was gorgeous then.
I never get this Angelina Jolie or VB craze either. Stick thin is as gross as obesity. Did anyone see AJ last oscar- she looked hidious. I am size 2 but I am only 5' 3'' so in my frame I am just fine.
And one last think- yes I have seen myself in the mirror before I criticize and frankly I like what I see when I look into the mirror. I get enough attention from the male population and it is worth noting that I really dont apply much makeup except occasional lipstick and/or eye liner, and even then I am rocking. Plus my looks are not my livelihood so there is no point is anyone asking me to put up my picture.
lol at the botox accusations. Botox is used to cure wrinkles. Then why doesnt she use it around her eyes and neck? Because she wants to be natural and that's her preference. RESPECT ITT!!
