Why make a big deal abour Ash hiding her baby bump?
I have watched the Ash posts silently and now is the time I thought I should voice my opinion. Ash is 8 months pregnant now and she recently made a couple of public appearances at the puja pandals. Ever since the photos were out, I saw a lot of comments here that she is trying hard to conceal her baby bump. It was quite apparent that she was doing so going by the videos that were released. Added to it, the Bachchans did not leave her side and it kind of looked like they were trying to cover her from the media. So it is very clear that she is definitely trying to stay away from the photogs. My question is why is this been made a huge debate. I call it huge debate because today I saw a couple of leading Indian dailies talk about the same. Ash, I know has always been a very private person. This coming from her came as a no surprise to me. So my question to you is shouldn't Ash have any right to privacy given that her pregnancy has become a national topic of discussion? And since when did hiding a baby bump equal using a surrogate mother? And if it was a surrogate mother, is there anything wrong in it? I understand Ash is a celeb and so the scrutiny is justified. But dont you think Ash on her part is justified in having some privacy? Please share your thoughts on this topic and lets not be mean given that this is a very sensitive issue.

Understood and this is not the reason why people are going on and on, yes Ash is a celebrity and yes everyone should respect her and the fact that she is a private person, HOWEVER, people are fans of hers and want to just know more about her, I am sure that they are all just as excited and want to know more. PS celebrity or not, being pregnant is a wonderful thing and people would be proud to show off their baby bumps. :)

there is a difference between hiding yourself and keeping your privacy and i dont understand that what kind of privacy is that nobody wants her to pose for magazines but the way she is concealing her baby bump is very tacky...if she is following traditions than i guess she is a hypocrite...she was desperate to do "heroine" in her first 4/5months and now this "privacy" and "traditional" tag comes as a surprise to all....i dont understand her standards...and her fans who always change their opinions according to their convenience.
I really don't understand what all the hate is about. Why don't you just let people be as they wish? Why is it that everyone has to conform to your opinionated view of the world? I am not asking you to think like me or feel the same was as everyone else, I just ask that you kindly shut up and keep to yourself. It's a little disheartening to see people comment rudely on the stories about her pregnancy and accomplishments. Yet, there always seems to be you people waiting in the wings to always say something bad and negative.

Why would you be nasty to a woman who's on her way to motherhood. It's kind of unsettling to read some comments on Pinkvilla - most vile & slanderous. Every time this woman's pic is posted, who are these people who put these disgusting comments? Disturbing.
Well if she wants privacy,maybe she should stay home instead of making public appearances.It's normal that people discuss as she is public figure.

Hi people! I have been visiting this page recently. And I must say 'Pinkvilla' you are doing well in putting up the latest news in Bollywood and lovely, some private, pictures of the stars.
Coming to the topic here, It is amusing to read some utterly disgusting comments on Aishwarya and her pregnancy. All I have to say is, give the lady a break! Getting pregnant and becoming a mother is a wonderful thing for any woman. And if she doesn't want to flaunt it, it's her wish. Respect that! If you don't have nice things to say, don't say anything at all!
I'm surprised at how contradictory the haters are being (when she was shooting for Heroine, they said she looks too pregnant and cannot shoot the movie. And now they say she is not pregnant at all. lolzz). HYPOCRITES.

Aishwarya is a huge huge superstar and moreover she is known as The most beautiful woman.....so such success is incomplete without such envious beings,scrutiny etc....she has never responded to such frustrated souls n will never do so...these pitiable souls have tried their best pull her down but nothing happened..thus frustrating them even more...poor things...!

I would never be able to write essays about people I dislike. Really. So hats off to you for having the time/patience and give Aishwarya so much importance. However, your facts are completely distorted. For example, Aishwarya was not removed from those films after she exposed Salman. She was removed much before the expose. And I don't think she was maligning him. She just exposed the ugly side of him that the world had never seen before. Which was in fact a brave thing to do. Because he is reported to have abused many other women. But no one dared to speak up. She did. So full marks to her for having the balls to do so. Reg. "most beautiful woman" tag, it started right after she won the "Best Miss World of all time" title, also the readers of the Hello mag voted her as the most attractive woman in the world. Looking at her naturally gifted beauty, it was not a surprise that most people agreed she was the best looking woman they had ever seen. However, she has always been polite about it and never sat believing it. Of course you will believe what you want to. So I pretty much cannot help you with it. However yeah, both Michael Jackson and Ash have one thing in common - They are both legends and will always be remembered for their work :)

I will tell you something people....i am seven months pregnant, due with my second baby boy in the end of November. And there is always that fear and superstition that something might go wrong. I notice i institively protect my belly when i see a situation or someone i don't trust, by putting my bag in front, or my scarf....there are some people, perfect strangers or people i don' t know that well, that now just come to me and touch my belly! I have chillings up and down my spine whenever they come to me and some pat my belly, i hate that. It' s how i feel. And i cannot imagine, not even for a second, having the an army of paparazzi aiming at my bump as it it was a target. No way. The bachchans are superstitious. I totally understand.and this is a big deal. She is having her first baby, a much awaited one. Let her be, this is a private family affair.

I'm personally not her fan at all however I do think media need to give her a break...if she wants to hide it, let her be.. Its her life off the movie set.
I have to say I think it's admirable that she stays so silent even though the media says such horrible things about her. I mean, other people may turn negative and try and defend everything they do, and even become insecure to the point where they pick on others. But aishwarya, whether she lets it get to her or not, behaves like a true "lady" and doesn't respond and goes on with her life.
At a time like this, when she needs positivity around her the most, people are being the most rude. She still remains silent.
I guess it goes to show, the negative comments start and end with the person who makes them.
And if you think about it, she didn't release many wedding pics (most brides love everyone seeing them)...why would she show off her baby bump (as some of you claim that pregnant women love showing off their baby bump)...she's either just private or is respecting her family's wishes
Aww that was very cute :) I loved the video...very sweet of abhi and everyone to watch after her :) reminded me a lot of my bhabhi this past summer when I went to PK...the baby arrived last month. I am so excited for aishu =)
If Aishwarya showed off her pregnancy then everyone would be on her case saying that she's doing it for "attention" and she wants to be in the spotlight.

I actually take this in a good way. This proves Ash is still relevant since so many people are hating on her. There are almost 30 articles out there that just talk about Ash's pregnancy. What a star she is
