Ammesha Patel deos not have anthng going for her right now. She is not at the top or even close. But Ameesha has accomplished something that Kareena, Priyanka, Katrina, Deepika, and maybe even Aishwarya Rai have not and may never. She has TWO ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTERS to her name. Kaho Na Pyaar Hain and Gadar. Gadar is one of the biggest hits in the History of Hindi Cinema. SHe was considered the lucky mascot of Bollywood. Not many actresses can say that they have acted in two-let alone one All-time Blockbuster. Kareena has not delivered an all time blockbuster in her decade long career, and proabbaly wont ever. Priyanka I doubt it. Aish still doesn't have an All-time blockbuster- the cloest she comes is with Devdas which is superhit-to Blockbuster.Ameesha is ahead of all the actresses of this generation in that sense.
If she had acted in these two All-time blockbusters today, she would have a string of endorsements and films with big heroes. If a Sonam Kapoor can be relevant today after two flops, then im sure Amisha would have attained superstar status if those films released today. I really feel that she is very underrated.
Why do you think this woman's career,despite two Alltime blockbusters, turned out like this?
Doesn't she deserve to be in the place of Kareena today?

Amisha can't act! This is the reason she could not become a top actress. Like all other actresses she stripped in movies but unless you have some acting skills, that does not help.

No Amisha was first offered KNPH after she graduated, after Kareena backed out Rakesh Roshan offered her the role again after she graduated from university.

Kareena has given K3G, Golmaal returns and Kambakkht ishq which are some of the biggest hits in the history of Bollywood. I do not even think that Amesha could have done a better job than Kareena in Jab we met, chameli, omkara, dev...etc.
And do not forget that it was Kareena who was offerd the role in knph at first.Kareena has worked much harder to reacive the place she has today.

many factors ruined her career,media just got masala when both of them made debut in same year,amisha was having big blockbuster behind,but kareena was having big projects(u name it,she was having all..srk,yashrajs,zohars),while amisha was working with unknown banners(anil sharma was almost forgotton)..media just masala when refugee flopped,it was not hrithik v/s abhishiekh..it was amisha v/s kareena..
amisha got huge blockbuster in south and again an all time blockbuster with gadar..three back to back big hits,she was definately big thing..
but but but..just notice she signed only one film after gadar,that was humraaz.Yeh hai jalwa,amall,mere jeevan saathi,suno sasurji,parwana,zameer,yzks etc all these films she signed much before gadar,she was not this careless girl,who could default on her work,instead of taking other major films,she prefer to complete her old assignments(and producers of these films were not having much money to complete their films)..she lost films like tere naam,the hero,koi mil gaya,chameli etc.
can u believe she even said no to coke brand.All those delayed projects flopped badly and some of her good performances were not noticed..
There was no one to guide her(like kareena was having karishma to guide),there are many well-wishers of rani,priety and aish...there was akshay for priyanka..
but amisha made her own decisions,fall out with family,an affair with vikram..2 year gap of films in 2003-04,string of flops...post gadar she was getting an amount near to 85 lakhs(even the like of priety and rani were getting 50 lakhs in 2003-05)..but after flops she cut down her price..and whatever she earned(around 20 crores in 3-4 years)..her parents took it all..
when she left her parents's house,she left all major things too..including her cars..
she needed money,and when aap ki khatir came her way,she signed it for friendship and she was getting good money too,she thought her role will be equal to priyanka,considring it was refused by lara..who was leading lady in andaz and priyanka was supporting..but by the end priyanka got much footage than her..and it was downfall of amisha in big way
but i still feel,one big hit..and amisha can make it again..
