Reading the body language, I can only conjecture.
It was a happy moment for Hema family when the baraat arrived. Any couple would have jointly welcomed their son in law together, sharing that special moment only meant for the family.
Was Manoj Kumar a plant? Did Dharam and Prakash request him to come between the two that they no longer seem like a couple? Cannot say.
My heart goes to hema. She had to be independent, not get even small things couple take for granted. Even with her raw deal, she was viewed as the other woman. Foolish mistake to fall for an experienced womanizer like Dharam. Another conjecture, he is controlled probably by his first wife and children.
Civilized couples realize that even if they have separated, still can be together for the chidlren, for the memories they shared together, the history shared. That roach of a husband scurried out as soon as he came. I will doff my hat to Hema, she stood alone, proud, pulled heavy weight guests all out of goodwill she has earned in this harsh industry called Bollywood.
Congrats Hema, Esha we really wish we could have seen you more. WE LIKED YOU!

Hema was the dream girl, look at her even now so pretty and from dancer, producer, director so many different roes she deserved better, should have dumped dharmendra.

Dharmendra is 77 years old and is weak/frail right now. Hema is only 64. There seems some tension between them. A fight?
Plus he will not know anything about South Indian or Hindu marriage customs as he is a Sikh. Sikh weddings are totally different.
Kudoos to Hema Ji.......She must have gone thru a lot to reach this stage.....Totally appreciate her and i am sure her daughters will stay by her side though married...she is the perfect mother any girl would want.....

Hema looks pissed off when manoj Kumar was greeting Dharmendra..looks like there is some tension between hema and Dharmendra..anyways he looks like a weak father who didn't do much for this second family of his..morally and emotionally..hema comes across as strong and a proud mother..congratulations to her on this happiest occasion of her life

Dharmendra needs to be more happier and be more a part of these celebrations. It's his own daughter for heavens sake!
