Bipasha Basu is glowing these days. Maybe singledom is suiting her! She is super-excited, as she talks about her film Players and her international project, Singularity. Miss Basu is at a happy place in life.
Players
When I did Race, I became very close to directors Abbas-Mustan. They are like my mentors, and they know what I am best at. They have a very thrilling mind. Believe me, Players is going to be a suspense thriller that you will enjoy till the end.
Shooting
This is one reason why I love my job so much. It’s because my job allows me to roam the world. During shooting for Players, we went to some exotic parts of Russia to shoot in chilling winters, but I fell in love with that place and its scenic beauty.
Life after break-up
It happened last year, so I have come out of it now. I am bored of talking to and answering people about my break-up. So, let’s talk about something else. I believe what happened, happened for best. I never look back or regret about what has happened, as it is life, and life teaches you everything.
What’s new?
(Laughs) Life has not changed; it’s the same the way it was: sweet and simple. I am spending more time choosing scripts and spending time with my parents. What has changed is, you can say, I read a link-up story about me every morning! That's new and funny!
What about work?
I am doing some mind-blowing films like Players. I am very excited about that. You know, my directors have shown faith in me. Like Race, they have given me nice songs and action scenes. I work out, so I didn't need much training, but I learnt a lot while shooting. I have also finished shooting for Singularity, and am looking at a couple of scripts.
Controversies
I believe that once you join this industry, your personal life becomes a joke. I can’t say why you want to know about my personal life. Because people are interested in it and want to know the dating dynamics in this entertainment industry? Since the day I joined, I have stopped reading and commenting on controversies related to me. It’s better to ignore them than to pay attention and feed them.
