Here we go again with all these racist claim, sorry to burst your bubbles but asians are the biggest racist. Indians for instance they descriminate against their fellow indians for being darker. I got fed up of bollywood movies becos of their sickening black racist jokes, the main offender being Akki movies.

whats racist about it??!are'nt indian ads made in india too where...a person fakes a south indian accent?? is that being racist? then what is racist abt this? people really need to get a life!!! theres nothing racist about it at all...! thats called being in character....if hes supposed to play an indian...then thats the way he had to play it in order to be in character....same goes for the other characters too...!

As an Indian born in India but living in the US, I don't find it racist. It's stupid but hardly a 'brown-face'. If you see songs like Hawa-hawaii from Mr. India, now THAT is offensive ( the background dancers), Indians in India do lot worse , not that 2 wrongs make a right...
Anyway i've learnt that ABCDs and other minorities born and grown up in the US have a different experience/ideas of racism and tend to be more sensitive about this kind of stuff.

Face it. Bollywood is a f!@#$%g joke with all of its over the top song and dance "item numbers". Why do Indians get offended when they pay money to support this trash. Bollywood is the epitome of quantity over quality!

People need a sense of humour.... We are turning into the most intolerant society.... nothing offensive about this ad...

I think its just an ad it was just for fun..why do people take it seriously??

Indian-Americans are so sensitive, humorless and ignorant. They are so racists and prejudiced against anyone else yet when someone else imitiate them, they get offended. Indians in US are prejudiced against their own, and have this regional complex thinking they are superior than most. I guess india sent the worst people abroad to get attention by pettiness.

more stereotyping. if an indian man does this then it's usually done for satirical purposes and is far more outrageous than this (and it's usually for the indian audience). if an indian man doing this and it was for an american audience, then it'd still be offensive.

HE does look like an Indian guy.....I couldn't even recognize him.
It's funny, people need to get a sense of humour!

you are deshdrohi and hanging you is the only solution is left for well being of mankind.

Blackface has a much larger history in America so I can understand why it's instantly condemned. That being said I am very impressed with the makeup work.

just ignore. that will hurt more to those silly advertising execs.

i didnt understand....what the heck was so racist... ? :S

I think people are offended because a White man is emulating an Indian. If it were an Indian acting Indian, then there would be no backlash. However, I think people are becoming too politically correct, and humor is all but disappearing because someone somewhere always feels insulted.

Nope not racist. He is making fun of sleazy Bollywood producers... which is pretty accurate since most of them have two wives and are into adultery.
