Karishma too used to look hideous in her first few films.
Aishwarya's body language was more modest and less haughty back then - but gotta admit, she is one who has never needed plastic surgery, she's always looked this good.
Kareena is the only actress who pretty much looks the same. In fact, better than before and still looks youthful..
Kareenas face shape has changed dramatically, now I can see why there are romours, that she has done plastic surgerie to her face...weight loss cant change a face in that way (I mean the jaw area)...
or can Yoga change your face :D...but Kareena looks now good!
manisha is talented and good looking. 1942 movie she looks superb.

I agree she had her jaw and chin changed even put in a cleft. I have no problem with people having plastic surgery, but why would anyone want to go from have a feminine jawline, a feminine pointy chin to a more masculine facial structure? I personally think she was trying to emulate Rekha's facial structure but it's all good on Rekha because she was born that way.

they all look gorgeous. Kareena has a flawless complexion and is so lovely.. and so does M. Koirala. flawless. Aish was and is still gorgeous. Ms. Koirala has the greatest smile-- oh wow.. she shines. She really could have been #1 had she played her cards right and had more confidence in herself. but oh well, talent is always secondary these days.

wow.. Aishwarya had a bad stylist back then. that jumpsuit is weird. shes' improved a lot now. she doesn't have plastic surgery, but got smarter with neutral lipsticks and better makeup and clothes.
Aishwarya and Rani look ravishingly (equally in different ways). This post shows there is no one person who can be the most beautiful-- they were all so pretty in different ways.
yeah.. Manya is grandly gorgeous.... she pioneered the glamour character roles - merging them in one (no names mentioned.. but a few of the biggie stars today pretend they did.. but they didn't). People forgot her so fast... a talent like hers and a beauty like hers together is so rare.

yeah.. Manya.. was the most beautiful of them all.. Our friend in Mumbai had invited her over to a party (and he invites many stars) and said she's very very nice too (no airs , unlike other stars). and yes, with no makeup, incredibly beautiful. it's all in her smile. She treats commoners and the big people the same.. and she even paid for the entire party on her. (her downfall is that she does drink... and she needs to stop that!). We saw photos of her in an album (no makeup) of that party-- and oh wow.... she looked 10000 prettier than she does on-screen.
on top of that, she had (and still has) the most talent of them all. now when all the stars cry out they are doing hatke roles, she was doing it back then.. as a glamor star.. went with no makeup on screen.
She was the most enchantingly naturally beautiful actress out there ever from our recent lot (don't believe the hype ).
But Manya lost to the stardom rat race because she didn't play the coy heroine to the media-- she never hid her boyfriends, never chamcaaed her producers. She thought her talent and talent alone would get her through. WRONG. talent is not appreciated in Bollywood... being a chamca is.
The more cosmetic wonders were Sonali Bendre (she still is amazingly beautiful)-- but she did not have the talents or smile of Manya. Sonali still has one of the best structured faces in all of India.
As for the most beautiful eyes, that goes to India's sweetheart, Aishwarya Rai. She has the most beautiful eyes ever-- and the most loyal fan base who made her go to the top. Her looks are debatable and all the rage continues on whether she is 'all that', natural or artificial-- but back then, no one really thought she was that beautiful as she is made out to be today. She is a self-made star and kudos to her for her intelligence in projecting herself to the top.. she looks like she is a hard worker to do that.
The most complete actress of beauty and talent.. oh Manya, where are you? Bollywood is empty without you.
Manya.. please fix back your health, lose the alcohol, and come back to films. You were and are a true talent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No need to be a rat race top star.... just act. You are an actor artist, after all!

Are you kidding? Aishwarya always had the saw jaw/lips/nose/eyes. Why cant ppl accept she is naturally the most beautiful woman in the world. Indians are a shame.

in my opinion Manisha was the most beautiful actress of the 90s. so natural, so simple, so down to earth, and not just her face, as a woman god has also gifted her with all the assets. she was never size zero throughout her career, but still she had the curves and in my opinion that adds to her beauty.
